Hi,

Currently, it seems that most leading online gaming operators send a notification to users when some account changes happen, such as logging in from a new device or changing the password.

In many of these notifications, the sites tell players that they should contact the site if this has not been correctly authorised by the player.

However, since the leading online poker sites have variable response times (my last email to an online poker site took more than 2 hours to reply) players cannot rely on the gaming site to act fast enough to prevent any further harm - even after the sites have been notified.

Here is a solution to this problem: Sites can embed in these notification emails a unique URL, which a player can click on, and when that link is clicked, further real money transactions are halted. While it won't reverse damage that has already taken place, it will, at least, stop further damage.

Beyond the development cost of this, there does not appear (to me) to be any cost of this. Indeed, it will allow sites to further save costs by reducing the need for urgent review of such emails by human staff.

Instead of asking ~50$ for physical RSA token why not to have app with same functionality as we all have smartphones? Just like gmail, twitch etc.

I remember of removing RSA token security from my account just by emailing support that my battery is empty.

Changing location halt my cash outs to my bank account that’s linked to my name dozen of years, but let me gamble without problem... LUL.

It's insane these days not to have 2fa options built in (especially if its a crypto project).

I think an account freeze option of some kind is a great idea.

I actually think you should be able to set it up so that your account is frozen and you get an alert if you lose over a certain amount in a particular timeframe (that you set). That way if someone somehow manages to get full access to your account then they can only do so much damage.

So similar to a fraud alert on one's credit, correct?

If so, then count me in for seconding (or thirding or fourthing) this idea.
