My wife and I will always choose a non-smoking casino over one that allows smoking. It does seem that the smoking areas are getting smaller and smaller, which is good news.

Native American run casinos in NY allow smoking but the state run casinos do not. We always choose the non-smoking ones when we can.

Would love to see a Vegas strip casino go 100% non smoking. They might actually see an increase in biz although I believe they don't think that would happen.

I used to smoke but I don't care if other people smoke in a casino. That being said it shouldn't be allowed at table games. At least if you're walking around the pit you're only getting second hand smoke rather than having it blasted in your face.

This was tried in the '90s. Maybe 20 years later it would work??

Silver City: "In 1991 it became the strip's first casino to ban cigarette smoking"

Although a small place, it did not survive. Closed in 1999. I went in there a few times and was never crowded; air quality was awesome though !!!

Having said that, wreaking of smoke is absolutely my least favorite part of going to LV. I have a routine now where I save a clean pair of clothes in a ziploc bag. I shower/ change into these clothes just prior to leaving town.

When I get home the other casino exposed clothes go right into the washer.
Usually takes three washes to get the smoke yuch out.

Disgusting !!!

I’ve been to a casino in Miami, that had a non smoking poker room and a smoke free room for slot games, that was sectioned off from the main part, which you could smoke in. Sadly the smoke free room was drastically smaller than its counterpart.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You forgot one option in the poll.
You should be required to smoke meth in casinos at all times. +1 to that.
