"Breaking News! I forgot to set my alarm this morning so I woke up about 45 minutes later than usual. I decided to skip breakfast to make up for lost time and thankfully the traffic on Highway 7 was lighter than usual so I made it into the studio just in time. I asked our cameraman Roger if he had anything I could snack on before we went on the air, and he said that he was meeting friends for lunch this afternoon and that he didn't pack anything. Fortunately one of our interns, Amy, a woman in her late 20's wearing a gray Eddie Bauer blazer with matching dress pants, overheard my predicament and told me she had a box of Nutri Grain bars in the lunch room I could have. We were on the air in only 20 minutes, so I quickly made my way to the dining hall and found the box of Nutri Grain bars. They were cinnamon flavor, and while I generally prefer strawberry, they did just fine. I hastily made my way to the anchor desk and made it there with 3 minutes to spare. President Obama was assassinated this morning."
