No the unsuccessful ones were where I just couldn't be consistently disciplined enough so gave up relatively early.
I'm 187 lbs and 5" 7'. My target is 154 lbs by Aug 31st this year, plus more muscle mass. Doing it all naturally.
The successful ones incorporated those methods.
If you look at the math, if the extra bits and pieces of exercise add up to 100 extra calories burned per day then it's 36500 extra calories burned in a year, which is the equivalent of ~10lbs in weight.
Doing the extra little exercises with your calves, thighs and abs will also strengthen them up so make injuries less likely when doing more intensive or aerobic training.
The other thing that is very good for weight loss and health is stretching exercises. I am doing these three times a day.
I'm exercising my calves while typing this!
