I've been watching on and off for the last few hours and it's an interesting match for sure. Looks like limitless is trying really hard to go for super expoitative lines, but misses the mark most of the time, which is weird as he spent last few years playing live cash in Macau and probably played Ivan a ton

maybe those Asian businessmen really are THAT unpredictable, or maybe Ivan only plays tournaments

The guy who got 3rd is a 20yo American who recently won the $50k at SHR

https://www.seminolehardrockpokerope...-roller-field/

"Despite his age, Ruan has already played very high-stakes. He starting playing poker during his high school years in 2016 for play money and eventually started grinding the smallest stakes available online two years later. He quickly rose up from the $1 buy-in cash games all the way up to $100-$200 pot-limit Omaha in just a couple of years.

“I started at $1NL. Half a cent-one cent [blinds] and eventually worked my way up,” said Ruan. “I actually switched to PLO and made it to the $100-$200 games.”"

I wonder where he is playing 100-200 online in the US. Or maybe he moved and plays on Stars/GG?

I thought this was common knowledge, but yeah, he's been mostly in Macau for last 2 or 3 years, playing very high stakes live, even had Macau flag for a while online.

Must have been running pretty well there, before moving he was an nl10k reg on stars (granted, one of the top ones), and after he came back to playing online he was claiming that 1k/2k was "a bit small" for him

I get what you're saying but a few worse hands will call the miniscule shove.

Seems Armando D'avanzo won the $400 WSOP Colossus for $409k... When you bink a tourney like that it is mandatory to sit NL40k

That KJ fold is egregious. Rooting for him to win from the regs though!

live is so slow and inconvenient you need to play like 5-10x stakes as you would online to make it worth it.
