so can compare sim database and hand histories if he played extremly accurate or not. if so sends me the hands i can do it. the interpretation of the results tho has to be methodological correct to avoid any unfair damage.

Objectively pretty poor form to make allegations like this, especially in an NVG forum. Jeez

Mostly only players from NL25-NL100 did this, since they would be available to all villains that wanted to track your stats. So the results of zoom NL25-NL100 were very partial. From NL200 to NL1k zoom (yes that stake run often back in the day, even nl2k sometimes) the sample is almost nonexistent, less than 1% would be my guess.

So the change in the graph I'm guessing shows when he started to play nl2k and up reg tables and misses most of the action of zoom NL200-NL1k.

https://gyazo.com/4b0cbf94f3d6ad15a47d503153c15e7a - not sure how to get screenshots to show. also not sure what date they stopped tracking zoom, but there is a break in there

also worth noting he played hu at small stakes: https://gyazo.com/5178993d1a658e367706335dd7318a7d https://gyazo.com/6730274f7cec2f995469db4ecc0dea4b & i think fillis is right that after he got good he played absolutely nobody at HU until he was already the best. not ur typical progression if true

but no one can rly know so its kinda pointless speculation without evidence and could hurt him unfairly. would be sick if he plays a big hs hu match on cam <3

In all the hands posted here since he moved to high stakes does anyone with proper knowledge know of any mistakes he’s made ?

From my observation, seems like he never makes mistakes , never spews, never gets tired , while battling all the best players at multiple tables, if he’s legit , then quite amazing, he did crush live as well so obv is super good regardless

Re: *** September 2019 High Stakes Thread ***

Just a quick comment:
There have been a few people in this thread saying, without evidence, that Linus plays the same online as live, and that the lines he takes live are consistent with the solvers, that he's a real life bot, etc.... I was genuinely curious about how bot-like a great player like him is in a live setting, and looked at this video, which compares his live lines with a solver:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFA5...ature=youtu.be
and although many of his spots are outputted with some frequency in the solver (not a surprise when mixed frequencies are common), it's a stretch to say that he plays exactly like the solver. From what I saw in this video, he took many low frequency lines, and it's statistically improbable that he's inline with the most likely solver output, every time. Most likely, some of these are just mistakes.

I guess Linus decided AK has enough equity to call pre vs. 5-bet range of GODofHU and when he gets shipped on OTF vs. min-raise he's priced in with all the backdoors vs. perceived range, plus the fact that he knows they'll run it twice?? If GODofHU flatted the min-raise OTF, I imagine Linus is shipping any turn. I don't play these games, but that'd just be my guess as to what the logic was here.

I don't think it's fair for this guys name and rep to be dragged through the mud like this; due to one persons accusation, without concrete evidence to back up any of his claims. Now whether this is true or not people will always have in the back of their minds if LL is using a dream machine solver.

How sad. Why is it so hard for it to be possible for an individual to win for such an extended period of time without it being brought down to cheating? Did kobe bryant cheat?, Messi? Tiger woods? Can't talk about big time financiers as to succeed in finance you have to effectively cheat.

Hopefully this can be resolved amicably. Maybe.

This hand probably makes no sense to most people but there's actually a very logical explanation justifying Linus' play..

Re: *** September 2019 High Stakes Thread ***

hi, this is bajskorven87

accusing someone for cheating is a serious thing, and thru my 13 year career I have only done that a few times, and been correct every time.

for instance, 40and7 was so obvious he was using some sort of not allowed software. he came out of nowhere, was really really good, hardly did any mistakes , kept splitting stacks when deeper then 110bb or sth, tanked every every decision, even the most simple ones. HS online today is super tough and you dont come out of nowhere crushing the best of the best. not to forget - 40and7 also learnt plo overnight...

believe 40and7 got banned 2 years ago or so, and since technology is just getting better and better and faster and faster one can only assume the bots will be more advanced and more common.

among the 1000s of hs pros ive played over the last decade, only 2 has tanked for simple decision to be "balanced". a bit of a coincidence one of them is banned for cheating.

Linus must also understand there are several coincidences happening at once, and i hope he and stars can do some kind of cooperation to find out whos in the right.

I think the main reason for that play is that he knows they’ll run it twice!

It's just not something I'm interested in doing. The main reason I've politely asked people to post hands is for the benefit of others who aren't railing the game.

Is this an accusation of me cheating aswell? Because you're really not making any points at all in that post. I'd gladly argue with any points you're trying to make of me cheating

Man, you've accused me in chat before and I asked you instantly to play with webcam on then, and you, let's say "declined".

Also regarding the coming out of nowhere argument; First of all, I don't think it's fair for someone like you, who almost exclusively plays heads up, and who I haven't played for at least the first to second year of my highstakes career to have such a strong opinion on that without any further explanations.
Second of all I don't know where this "coming out of nowhere" argument comes from constantly;
I've been a slightly winning (3-4bb/100) 200z reg during 2014 and 2015. Towards the end of 2015 I started working with piosolver and realized how bad everyone was and how everyone folded everywhere in everywhere spot(me included) and I moved up to 500z and some 1kNL on other sites. At the start of 2016 I started playing 1k and 2kNL reggames on stars, where I got bumhunted but crushed and won a lot. I moved up to 5k and repeatedly failed to move up until I caught a heater towards end of 2016, and then I started playing everyone and continued to move up. I don't know when exactly people started regarding me as the best player but it definitely was not before late 2017. If you think 1.5-2years of highstakes playing 8 hours almost every day against anyone to get to the top is "coming out of nowhere", then sure..

This just seems like such an unnecesary post from you and will damage my reputation even more and all you were basically saiyng was like "I'm a highstakes reg and I kinda knew 40and7 was cheating and Linus kinda plays like him and uses more timebank than others so I kind of think he might be cheating but I don't wanna say it outright and I have no sort of evidence or points to back my claim up"
