I'm not a chronic Seebok hater, but just STFU already. Another interview w/ no info or progress. About 2/3 of the way thru he says that he's been focusing on marketing and hasn't really thought about the scandal in a year or so. He seems to have been pretty ineffective regarding the scandal investigation, hand histories, etc. He should stop talking because he is saying NOTHING.

Sebok is on UB's side. He works for them, he takes their money, and most importantly, he believes that those above him tell him the truth.

With this in mind, people should stop interviewing Joe about this stuff. No new info will come of it, because all Joe has is hearsay anyway. He is not on "our" side, he is not interested in the truth, he is interested in this stuff going away, and for people to think there's an old, evil UB and a new, open, clean and sparkly UB.

There is no old or new UB. Its the same company, they still lie and distort at every opportunity (they're big on obfuscation, if you haven't noticed), and we're not going to be getting anything useful from Joe while UB's paying his bills.

Less Sebok, more Haley/Mookman/Rollo/Russ/Travis/anyone else. Sebok cannot and will not be helpful.

At some point in the interview, he acknowledges that the current incarnation of the company tried to cover the cheating up at first. Obviously we all know that, but is that a new admission?

He's a sellout representing the most shady site of all. Why anybody would even listen to him is beyond me.

He has said it before. That Paul made a mistake at first then quickly learned from it and started to no longer protect the 'old UBers'. If Joe believes that fine, keep saying it. I wish someone would then followup and ask him why Paul did the exact same thing with the AP scandal and even go so far as letting Scott Tom off in return for unneeded 'co-operation' Did he really need to learn that lesson twice in such a short period of time.

PLEASE STOP INTERVIEWING JOE SEBOK! Try to get Travis back on the air to divulge more. Try to get Paul Leggett to talk. At least we can catch him being elusive or just plain lying about stuff. If you need to interview Sebok, just ask him one question: If your boss Paul Leggett has nothing to hide why won't he do interviews?

I think its time we all just stop talking about Sebok. He may be a good person in his personal life, but in his public figure/poker playing life he is extremely dishonest, shady, and scummy. I wish money didn't control people as much as it does, but there is nothing we can do to change that.

What I find weird about Sebok is that he claims to be a professional poker player. Shouldn't you be winning money in said profession to justify the title? NHL hall of famer, Jean Béliveau, is now paid roughly 500k a year to be the Montreal Canadiens ambassador. When he is introduced, it says "ex NHLer, now ambassador for the Canadiens"

Sebok, despite having plenty of ressources and an unlimited access to some of the greatest poker minds, was never able to turn a profit consistently playing poker. When was his last donkament score? The way he talks about strategy, I'd be shocked if he was savy enough to be a winning cash game player unless he shorstacks like a rat(wait scratch that, he doesn't know that you can resteal).

P.S. Joe's wish would be that one of the biggest online poker scandal went away. Tells you a lot about the man's character. If the scandal was forgotten, the disillusion would be much easier to live with,right Joe...

No, he's been saying/admitting that since he signed up, writing it off as a stupid mistake in a difficult and unfamiliar situation for the "new management".

Can't be bothered to dig them out, but I'm fairly sure he said this in the pokerroad radio talks/interviews he did right after signing up and I also think he said so in the 2+2 Pokercast interview he did.
