Is this a little bit fishy? More than a week in advance 43 are registered for a $2k Turbo. All 43 accounts are Greek.

Account from 2009 doesn't know the well known fact that they due this for tax reasons for freaking ten years or so.

How does spending hundreds of thousands on poker tournaments help your taxes? And does that mean that these people are working together in some way or multi-accounting or this is just what Greek people do?

They basically get charged tax on a per day win. So if they win $1k in cash, they buy in for $1k worth of donkaments, so they've won nothing that day, then unreg when they have a losing day. As mentioned, this is asked extremely frequently, I'm not entirely sure why because tax evasion is the national sport of Greece so anyone should be able to put two and two together, but here we are
