Hows he gunna donate 1m to 15 diff people if he just won 8m (-4m tax) ? Also what kind of poker player is going to donate to other poker players? Think the majority of scammers were dropped on their head a few too many times

Pretty nice of him to donate 15 million dollars of his 8.1 million dollars he won st the New Jersey WSOP, from Japan.

Kinda off topic, but any guesses as to how much Blumstein had of himself

These scam emails are deliberately full of errors and typos. In this way they only get responses from extremely gullible people.

Make sure to give them your bank account number. You wanna get that moneyz ASAP.

Never thought about that but it makes sense. You want the people with the most amount of oxygen deprivation as possible so no point in keeping people on the hook that ultimately won't fall for your scam.

Honestly, you should rename this thread title. There is no reason for the word scammer and Scott Blumstein to be placed adjacently near the same sentence. Someone who later does a google search of him might see the title, not look in the thread, and think Scott Blumstein was trying to scam someone.

If someone sees two words together and makes an assumption about it without checking for context, I doubt he would have much credibility to begin with.

Meh, i kind of agree though. Its obv a sensationalist title and could be more accurately worded even though we all knew we were clicking something that indeed was not Scott Blumstein scamming

The man is a professional poker player. If he was akin to Saint Paul in all aspects of life outside of poker, most people would think that anyway.
