Scam? Olympic Casino Baltic in Riga, Vilnius & Tallin Scam? Olympic Casino Baltic in Riga, Vilnius & Tallin

Dudes, every time I play at Olympic Casino in Baltic region, in Riga or Tallin, I keep seeing bad beats over bad beats... They usually have their regular players who keep winning all the time, usually with some miraculous good luck...

Finally, after a sequence of bad beats (while having 90% chance to win but losing 90% of the time usually against their "regular players") today I decided to ask the floor manager to give me a deck that dealers are dealing and I said I want to investigate the cards.. She strongly objected this, kept saying she doesn't have the authority to give cards away... And obviously, when she didn't give, my suspicions grew...

Is this not my right, as a customer, to demand investigation of the cards?

You obviously don't have a right to "investigate" the cards yourself.

If you're being deal-rigged, how would you know just by looking at the cards?

Or are the bad beats based on pre-flop equity, and they're calling you down with trash that hit the flop?

I am from Riga and have played in Olympic Casino a couple of times.

1) Olympic group is quoted on the stock exchange https://finance.google.com/finance?q=TAL:OEG1T
lol@cheating at a totally crowded, public casino.

2) No, you can't see the cards and hold them because it is a common casino rule, even when a card hits the floor, the whole deck gets changed in order to avoid any possible card marking, scratching or any other manipulation in order to gain any sort of edge.

3) The games you played were probably 2/2; common sense tells me that no cheating can happen for a couple hundred of euros, the risk:reward is just way too bad.

4) Regs is probably not the right term to refer to when describing the players who play at those casinos on a daily basis

- one example: early stages of a 350 eur buy-in tournament, I have like 12-13 blinds, shoved with JJs and button calls with A something and big blind with average stack calls with 4-5 off suit, and he makes a set... how on earth would you call with 4-5 off suit and miraculously win with a set? and yet in previous hands, all players were so tight, didn't even bet with 2 pairs... and suddenly, they call all-ins with not great cards...

- In cash tables, they don't let you choose the table you want to play... You are forced to play at the table they choose for you...

Just today, in cash table, they deal me QQ, big button calls with A5, and hits set on the flop, and I slow down let him take it of course.. Next hand, deal me 77 and again losing.

All fishy players leave table and 2-3 aggressive players stay, so I keep asking floor manager to change me to another table where there is 2-3 places, but they keep saying no and force me to play at the same table with those aggressive players... They force me to sit back on the table and you know what?? They deal me QQ again on the big blind. The aggressive player on button raises, and I re-raise, trying to imply I play with tilt/anger (because they didn't change my table)... but the aggressive player shoves all-in thinking he could steal my raise (and I am happy!) with like 200 eur. and of course happily I call thinking I trapped him with my tilting act!

I have QQ and he has JJ, I am 82% favorite but it is olympic casino... so, he wins with 4 hearts and flushing...

It was very funny that they made me lose all soon after I sit back on the table after a long argument that I want to change the table... It seems to me that they want 1-2 victim in every table where they have their guys... You are not allowed to sit wherever you want, even if they have space...

So, I ask them to hand over the deck but they keep saying no.

This and similar things keep happening always at this casino...

So, it is quite normal for an ordinary person to be suspicious...

With regards to cash tables/games in EVERY casino you cannot choose the table you want to play unless it is the main table and there are no 2nd or 3rd tables for that game/stakes.Basically all cash games have feeder games into the main game.

And also if it's in the Baltic region, you should try lining your clothes and hat with tin foil!

Man you might really be onto something here

Breaking news poker player experiences variance, casinos rigged?

The fact that they don't let you choose any table supports my suspicions.. And somehow I was punished directly after I wanted to change the table and was forced to give all my money to one of their young "regular" aggressive players... This increased my suspicions even more... In the UK for example, you can choose your table for example...

I am just raising my rightful suspicions... in the UK, if I ask the casino to clarify things they will, but here at olympic, they will call you stupid...

Seriously man, there is no way to win even if you are the rocket scientist poker player at Olympic... I see only a few the regulars winning...

And look the Baltic countries are so small and the authorities are so small and not capable of regulating or investigating anything as well. And usually owner of such big companies are quite powerful people...

So, nobody/no authority in Baltic dares or has the capacity to investigate regularly anyway, so they will do whatever they want, and all we are left to say is "oh another bad beat day..." but I prefer to say ENOUGH is ENOUGH!!

ALL I AM SAYING: NAIVE TOURISTS COME TO BALTIC, DON'T PLAY AT OLYMPIC CASINO... JUST BE CAREFUL... THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY.... IT IS NOT ABOUT BAD LUCK, IT IS ABOUT THEM FIXING THE GAME, I STRONGLY SUSPECT.... AND I HATE WHEN THEY MAKE NO EXPLANATION AT ALL WHEN YOU ASK, APART FROM SAYING OH BAD LUCK....

Note: is there any authority in Latvia or Estonia where I can go and complain and ask for investigation? Possibly no...
