Sad story of a Vegas reg who killed himself Easter Sunday Sad story of a Vegas reg who killed himself Easter Sunday

Man's fight with M Life cutting him off from free buffet for life and other stuff..he was sick obviously but a lesson to be learned about control as this guy was a degenerate who couldn't handle being 86'd.

http://www.reviewjournal.com/news/la...ee-buffet-life

The day before he put a gun to his head and killed himself at an M Resort buffet on Easter, a Las Vegas man filled a box with his complaints against the resort and its employees and mailed it to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

In his final, angry message to the world, delivered to the newspaper Monday morning, John Noble blamed his suicide on depression that set in after the Henderson resort awarded him free meals at the buffet for life then banned him from the property in 2013 for harassing some of the women working there.

While overall sad and tragic, thankfully this nutcase didn't decide to commit random mass murder followed by suicide. This story could have been horrific instead of just pathetically sad.

There's an ongoing thread in LVL on this.

Surprised to see such a detailed article in the LVRJ, when the vegas media S.O.P. for ages has been to give vegas crime, especially suicides, as little coverage as possible to avoid drawing attention to the city's open secret.

Killing yourself over the loss of a lifetime pass to an all-you-can-eat Seafood Buffet is a shellfish act.

I really shouldn't be laughing at this.

Probably something to do with it's high suicide rate.

"It won't surprise anyone to learn that Las Vegas has the highest suicide rate in America. At 34.5 per 100,000 people annually, Sin City scores over three times above the national rate of 10.7."

Maybe one day when all currency is digital big brother can put in place a system that places more restrictions on what people can gamble away in a given day, week, month, year.

So you want to use a suicide to support the killing of freedom and privacy.
Best you make your avatar a sheep.

I am bipolar and have been suicidal many times and have lost friends to it. If you are please know it is treatable and ask for help. I know that if it gets really bad like it did when my mother just died I could just call 911 and the police would drive me to the VA.

Yeah, because people who live in a free country and work for their money should have the government telling them how to spend it

I see what you did there. Because, usually when someone commits suicide others will proclaim 'suicide is a selfish act' but given that this guy was known for frequenting a seafood restaurant you inserted the word shellfish in place of the word 'selfish' because it rhymes and the restaurant probably sold shellfish.

When did Las Vegas pass Seattle? I figured Seattle's depressing weather would keep it number one forever.

It is everyone's right to lose their life savings I know, just sad to see wish there were more measures in place to prevent it as the casinos probably don't do enough in that arena.

This case has little to do with such matters sorry for the derail, too bad he couldn't see a way out of his situation.

Literally just hurt myself laughing at this.

If you're going to risk Hell and callously mock the recently dead, this is how it's done.

So much for the medical help the casino is supposed to offer when a person is obv suffering, as this was not a overnight problem & seems to be happening for a while.
Na just 86'd the guy.
I heard 1 of the girls accepted a gift to disney world then blasted him on her facebook page, anyone else hear this?
Just gotta be glad he only took himself out. A sad day in vegas but it, but sadly not uncommon

Sounds like a case of a guy that won a contest that most people don't take advantage of to the nth degree which was in his right, but while taking advantage of his win decided to socialize in a way that made the employs uncomfortable, No idea if they gave him warning(s) or not (I hope they did)

It appears that when he was rejected from the one thing that made him feel like a winner in life it set him off.

What was the resort supposed to do if someone is harassing their employees ?

Probably should set the amount of alcohol a person can consume, fast food they can eat, meth they can smoke, hookers they can bang too. You know just to be safe.

What was the "biggest winner" thing anyways? How did he get the free buffet for life?

Pretty sad dude ended his life over this.
