The only problem I have with AP/UB is I cannot withdraw my funds.

I was telling somebody at table about what happened last night and he said I wonder how Russ didnt stop to think about what he was doing in the middle of the scam and grow a conscience about it. My reply was, and I do not know how accurate this is: well (I assume) he is from the old gambling world which was very different from this one. What I mean is poker was not very big and it was harder to make money. At least it was more complicated in that one would have to go to gambling centers in order to play big games. It was not like today where anybody can play and make substantial money playing poker almost anywhere in the world. As a result this meant that those who did desire to make money gambling had to rely on other gambling games besides poker to earn a living. In general these games, pool, golf, sports booking, running home games, fixing home games etc. were a lot less honest than poker. Thus these guys are used to hustling and dare I say cheating others out of their money. That is what they know. They are comfortable with it. Thus I don't think Russ and all his a s s h o l e partners gave a **** about what they did the whole time. He probably doesn't care what he did to this day except for the fact that he has to deal with the consequences. But actually there were hardly any conssequenxes so..... What do u think?

I agree with Billy that his "breed" of gambler literally has no conscience. They cheat you and think you're the fool for allowing yourself to get cheated. Their mentality is if you're dumb enough to get cheated then you deserve it. I have encountered with several A-holes that think this way. So, in their eyes, they did nothing wrong. They convince themselves of this.

Perhaps you don't believe what happened wasn't cheating; hell I almost hope that's the case because you'd have to be some special kind of dope to keep gambling there if you *do* believe there was cheating going on. If that's the case, I will personally invite you to play me in PLO10. I will even download the AP software despite the nausea I get just from typing that out. The deal is that I get to see your hole cards, and possibly the board before it hits. You do not get to see mine or the board. This will be a fair game.

I was playing in a bigger game than is my norm, a bit out of my comfort zone (I was waiting for a 5/10NL seat to open up, tbh), and thus, I was really focusing on the action and looking to pick up some reads on the field.

Also, when I made the OP this morning, I had just smoked some quality bananas. I mangled the details of the verbal abuse that Billy was laying on Russ. If you want a very accurate account of what was said and how it went, go watch the video blog.

I conveyed the sentiment of the epic encounter to the best of my stoner abilities. I confess to taking some artistic license in spots that my memory was fuzzy. Long story short, Billy made Russ's head assplode in front of his posse of ancient sycophants while I laughed.

It didn't just come to Russ though, he didn't log on to UB one day and find "OMG i can see everyone's cards". He planned it and used his position as a UB big man to develop the software or w/e.
