Just wanted to say I thoroughly enjoy all of your podcasts and am really looking forward to this one!

I was on a bit of a break, but now I'm back with a new podcast episode. We talked to Lukas Robinson about his record-breaking 1000 hours streamed in 100 days (no days off). Incredible feat. I'm sure many of you will find tips and tricks which could be useful in your own poker careers. Lukas went from recreational player to a sponsored pro in a span of a few months. Plenty to learn from him

And we've got plenty of new episodes lined up for the coming weeks. Rory Young, Mason Malmuth, Chance Kornuth, Steffen Sonheimer are some of the guests to look forward to.

Thanks very much for this Videopro. This Phil Galfond is super serious and way educated. Maybe a match between him and Hellmuth in the future? I would love to see Hellmuth flipping out against this guy

Fantastic, looking forward to those. Really enjoyed the one with Phil Galfond. Would love to see him heads up with Hellmuth. He is so mild mannered and even keeled he would destroy Hellmuth. For sure that would be a entertaining match and make it Omaha!

Hey runchuks

Long-time listener, quite a big fan of the podcast.

3 things:

i) I need you to vet the 'mental game' coaches you interview going forward. It's a lucrative industry and every1 wants to get involved but are these guys you've had on any better than the original 1's? (I wont name either groups as I'm not trying to be overly critical. I just need some discretion please )

ii) would love to see you have a chat with Rob Yong.

iii) if I provided a list of dream guests, would you try your best to get them on?

Great post. As far as mental coaches and if I was serious player I like that Phil Galfond guy. Very stable.

No clue who Rob Yong is.

Like your dream guests idea. Ivey my fav of course, then Doyle, Jason, Daniel. Hellmuth, Poker Joey.

Hey, thanks for the post!
1) I see your point. I've been thinking about it myself. At the same time I'm all for having an unbiased conversation with my guests. For me, it's all about the conversation. If I can learn at least one thing from my guest - I'm already happy. After all how else we would learn about the guys who are up and coming.

2) Lucky coincidence - we're publishing the episode with Rory later today. I just saw your message though, so it's just a coincidence. But I'm very happy to hear that you want to listen to this conversation. Rory is a great guy.

3) absolutely. I don't always have enough time for the podcast recently, but we have 5 episodes prerecorded, so I'll have a bit more time to cold call potential guests

Galfond is great. I really enjoyed my conversation with him. I think you'll probably enjoy the last one we did with Fedor Holz. Both of these guys are just on another level - so much to learn from them.

Galfond is happy to battle, so who knows - maybe we'll see Galfond vs Hellmuth someday. But most people want a spectacle - players bullying each other, trash talking, pulling some apex predator **** on each other That's not Galfond, he's a professor of poker.

And here it is - the episode with Rory Young, who I know at least one of you has been waiting for

Most of you know Rory as the guy behind the famous 30 days in the dark bathroom bet (he came up with the idea and was betting against it).

He's a very successful poker player and businessman. He shared some valuable ideas about life lessons from poker, how they translate to business, and shared some fun stories from Vegas. There's plenty to learn from him and I'm sure many of you will find valuable advice in this episode. And of course, the story about the prop bet is fun as well

Just published our conversation with Cory Mikesell. He's got a new book out and it might be the best resource for improving your HU PLO game.

We talk about poker theory, best approaches to studies, how to dig down to first principles, and much more. Check it out!

The new episode with Mason Malmuth is out now. How to make poker cardrooms better? What can players and staff do to make games more sustainable? These are just some of the questions we discussed.

Mason shared lots of great insights as we dived into his new book: "Cardrooms: Everything Bad and How to Make Them Better"

Podcast available on YouTube, iTunes and Spotify
