when my emotions are involved, I have a really good memory. Here's my side of things:
During dinner break, I decide to make a point to scott that accusing me of cheating in the game is not okay, and also that I was pissed at the way he was treating me previously (making fun of me etc).
So I go up to him, and I tell him roughly "I've put up with your **** for a long time, but this time you crossed the line. Don't accuse me of cheating on TV," to which he responds "whatever." That obv pissed me off...
Then, Hellmuth and the other guys say roughly "Well you guys were both out of line the only way to make things right is apologize" Then I talk to them, and think for a second and say "I'm sorry" to Scott. He shakes my hand and says "okay" back. Then I say something like "But really, don't accuse me of cheating on TV again." Scott chuckles and says "just walk away"
At this point I'm thinking "wtf," then the other guys say something like"jungle you cant apologize and then say something like that, when you apologize it's over." Personally I was more concerned with accusing me of cheating, than the not playing out of hands... Embarrased, angry, and slowly realizing I am wrong, I stand there awkwardly for a few seconds trying to think of what I can do to make this situation better for myself. Then I mutter "whatever" and walk away...
