This. When I was reading the OP's summary, I couldn't help but notice how mild (all things considered) those symptoms were. In my head, the people who have died from COVID are the really severe cases where they need the ventilator and the ICU, etc. You know, those who were already somewhat weakened or prone because of age, fitness levels or preexisting conditions.
A friend of mine has COVID right now. He has just been sitting in quarantine from his own family, and he says the worst day was Sunday. Right now, he's just sort of tired but that's about it. So yeah, we all feel better about his condition... and then Gray's story is a reminder that this is a strange, insidious disease.
Anyway, OP, deepest sympathies to you and Mr. Gray's family and other friends.
