She gives $125k back to garrett off stream, her friend 'Rip' in the cowboy hat goes off screaming at garrett calling him a pussy , garrett leaves - when eventually robbi and rip return to the table they talk about how garrett accused her of cheating and asked for the $ back and she gave it back to end drama / not make it a huge deal and she figured it would make him happy

Rip pissed still saying garrett is a sore loser, which obv doesn't make sense given Garrett has always been a pro and taken bigger beats for more money and smiled about it , was a very sketchy situation way she described making her call but when she came back finally admitted she thought she had a 3 when she called which would make the whole situation make a lot more sense instead of her trying to say she called J high cause she thought Garrett had Ace high , and had blockers

Im sure other players can see if cards are marked. Maybe the design on the back has a slight alteration?

Or maybe she made a donk hero call and got lucky that he didnt hit?
I agree, I think it's unlikely that she cheated. Garrett is known for making all-in bluffs and I think she just read him right as on a draw with low cards and she made a hero call with Jack high. I think that's it.

I think Garrett is very presumptuous to immediately assume there's cheating involved.

Exactly, she didn't know what she was doing. In trying to make a hero call, she didn't know how to or how not to. It was on her and she put her chips in in confusion and momentum. There was no judgment there to stop it. Then, apparently, she gave it back. In my thinking this would be because everyone is saying she did something "wrong." She still doesn't understand and takes this accusation of "wrong" as against the rules somehow instead of simply "wrong" in strategy. My take. I'll bet.

If Gman wins 1 board are we here?

I agree 100%, it actually makes sense for Garrett to take back the money he lost, because he actually takes losses very well. So, of course he takes his loss back. And she should probably be permabanned for not giving a high-level enough post-hand analysis.

On a side note, I'm never giving the money back just because he was upset. Berate me all you want for misreading my hand or making a hero call.

Agreed.

She needs to post a PIOsolver range showing J4o is a call within 24 hours or permabanned.

I am comfortable saying that she did not cheat. She thought she had J3. But I admit it’s odd that she did not say that when she tabled her hand.

Her saying she thought Gman had Ace high makes a lot more sense with her (finally) 5th explanation mentioning she thought she had a 3 (before calling she asked if a 3 is good also) but just when she won + 3-4 explanations after winning she never mentions thinking she had a 3 and just talks about blockers and her saying she has a J so she called A high which made it a much more seemingly sketchy situation
09-29-2022 , 11:06 PM
Joey stream going over clip she stares at her hand for like 15 seconds on the turn , and argues it seems really hard to misread your hand if you look at it for that long

seems incredibly sus and the people calling to ban garrett are mouthbreathers

Will Smith - and now Garrett - has proven how a decade or more worth of positive branding can be lost in seconds.

It kinda makes sense if you consider that she was justifying the flop call in all those explanations. She kept saying, “I only stuck around because I had the (backdoor) straight draw and backdoor flush draw”.
09-29-2022 , 11:12 PM
Her 5 minute explanation is so cringe to hear. Imagine every novice going thru this when they win a pot they had no business in vs a pro
09-29-2022 , 11:13 PM
Shes giving an interview on stream now saying she doesnt think she shouldve won and was ok giving the $ back / figured they shouldve splitted if both felt it was a weird hand , she seems completely unaware why the situation was sketchy for garrett at all

"I hate drama and im okay to give $ to stop his tempter tantrum"
09-29-2022 , 11:15 PM
Her interview makes it look worse.
09-29-2022 , 11:16 PM
the situation at face value is just too stupid to be malicious cheating using tech, right?

the scenario that makes the most sense to me is garrett failed to protect his hand + she legitimately thought she had bottom pair and went blind trying to think of the implications of how badly the ownage was gonna look. and then when it blew up and she realizes she has jack high, there's a comedy of errors trying to unf*ck the f*cked situation.
09-29-2022 , 11:21 PM
Only seen this hand and few previous hands from her, but people are giving her way too much credit. Play is beyond suspicious doesn't make any sense with her player profile, I can't imagine anything other than cheating.
My guess would be she thought that Garrett would be just calling her raise and then she could check down the river making play look credible/cool, but instead when Garrett shoved she chose to still call it down
09-29-2022 , 11:23 PM
When people are asking "why would she give the money back?"

I'm sure a lot of it has to do with being a woman and being intimidated by a big, imposing male. Women capitulate to men all the time in their lives out of fear. It's not unusual at all.

Gman read the energy and stuck to his guns. She keeps talking about “loving production” “doesn’t want to cause trouble.” Why? It got spun on Gman fast af but I’ll stand behind him.
09-29-2022 , 11:26 PM
While the interview looks bad, Faraz Jaka said she started playing poker this past summer.....last week when she was on. Her even sounds like an amateur trying to explain it and also it feels like she was guilted into thinking she did something wrong by winning.
09-29-2022 , 11:28 PM
Only other thing I will say is that when Ryan or HCL production found out about Robbi being bullied or emotionally blackmailed into returning the money to garret they should have stepped in and intervened. This was not a transaction after the game amongst 2 people.

These were chips taken from one player and passed to the other. Most casinos dont even allow players to do that with chips in play.

This reminds me of when Armenian Mike tried to pull a fast one on Ryan Feldman when he got caught bluffing and tried to say he was joking.

Both instances, management should have stepped in to protect the integrity of the game
09-29-2022 , 11:28 PM
I do not believe she cheated. Clearly her level of poker thinking is rather low, but that is not a crime. I really wish she did not give the money back, Garrett needs to give it back to her.
09-29-2022 , 11:30 PM
Ivey is right, too. It looks like someone that misread their hand and then tried to explain or justify to make it not look like they misread their hand.
