Pretty irresponsible for the Lodge to brush this incident under the rug! Apparently they requested for the employees to not discuss or mention what happened. I know this because i play there sometimes and was told by more than 1 employee that they were instructed to not discuss it. Obviously it was an inside job either by the security or cashiers. Definitely not random, and customers should have the right to know these important facotrs about safety and who is actually working security. What a joke!

Ya I doubt anyone’s heard about it if they’re trying to cover it up. Why not explain what happened. Did armed gunman come in? Was it in the parking lot? Did someone skim. Pretty vague description. Lodge has by far the most security of any Texas room I’ve played but no metal detectors or screening process really and a very large room so I guess security could have failed.
Player from the stream was robbed in the parking lot in broad daylight as soon as he walked out from the cashier. Black BMW 3 men masked at gunpoint. Camera’s could not pick up the numbers on the plates. True story. Don’t believe it, watch Berkey’s video on youtube.
I am just stating that customers(players) have the right to know of major crimes that happen associated with the Lodge. Being transparent about what goes on related to player safety. Sure all players are responsible for themselves always imo but that does not mean valid information like an armed robbery that took place approximately 50yds from the front door of a player who plays regularly right after cashing out should be ignored!
ya it's good to know about these things. Unfortunately all companies try to burry these things instead of address them. Hopefully they have better security measures in the future and hopefully players pressure them to do so.
In houston this was really prevalent everywhere. Austin seemed pretty safe but obviously if u have bad measures and deal with lots of money you are going to have issues

Yoochan (player) on stream was robbed at gunpoint around 7pm after the Friday $25/50 stream ended. 3 assailants, took $30k from victim, no injuries. Lodge has video of one of the robbers and it is now posted on Round Rock Police twitter account (link below).
Side note: Lodge security is willing to walk you to your car, Yoochan did not take advantage of that service. Also, Lodge security more concentrated on the INSIDE of the Lodge, not the parking areas.
Its funny that Doug made a video about robbery at Rio paking lot and was outraged about their security , but now he doesnt even mention it ..so much about his credibility.
