RIP Paul Magriel, I recall briefly playing with him in the Golden Nugget Poker room. I remember he played ULTRA tight, always seemed like an interesting character.

Saw him around Vegas casinos quite a few times when I was living there but always in poker rooms or dining establishments, I never once saw him in the pit.

RIP! I believe I played with this guy as recently as last summer while in Vegas.

I think the lesson(s) learned from this guy are useful...
1.) don't judge a book by its cover
2.) people have a much more interesting and complicated story than you might think
