The upside is that sometimes, they're incredibly able at managing technically tedious things like odds, or computer code, etc. The downside, delusions. Creating elaborate scenarios and then believing them.
Terry O Davis was another one- a genuises genius who recently died homeless on a railroad track, because his delusions were just too obvious and strong to allow him to live a normal, well adjusted life.
