Meh, that question was always different with Doyle, who defied expectations of his age the entire time I've known who he is.
My only interaction with him was at Bellagio's Five Diamond Classic tourney that bore his name. I was shooting photos for some now-defunct poker magazine. Doyle was "only" in his mid 70s at the time, but he was quite active on Twitter in an era when people half his age were having to attend training sessions on how to use it. (No, really... the Big West Conference held just such a tutorial for us right around this time. I remember my co-workers being tickled by such terms as Tweet and Retweet.)
During a break, Doyle was sitting across from where I was waiting for the action to resume. I snapped a photo of him pecking away into his cell phone. He looked up, and I said something like, "There... I just got proof for all the doubters that you run your own Twitter." He smiled at that, and we chatted briefly about how much we both enjoyed it.
But the whole time, I couldn't help but think that my parents were a decade younger and barely knew how to turn on the computer, while this guy is a septuagenarian who was active on social media. It seems quaint now, since Facebook seems to only have people born in the 1970s and earlier.
