He was heavy enough for one, and did have it. You're probably thinking of him after the surgery.

I think this tragedy has put a great deal of emphasis on the importance of staying in shape, even to play a game that requires little to no physical stress.

i dont think this tragedy has anything to do with staying in shape

people in amazing shape die unexpectedly everyday...a friend of my mom who ran 5 miles everyday never ate red meat etc; died of a brain tumor at 52

I did something a little silly, but it made me feel better. I bought a card that was funny and poignant and signed it. I slipped it into Bobby's Room at the Bellagio. Don't know if it will even get to his family, but I hope so. Let him know I was thinking of him today.

I was a little surprised that no one has thought of it and there wasn't a little memorial started there already. I hope I got it started.

Farewell, amigo.

I enjoy reading these boards but this is the first time I've felt compelled to post:

Chip Reese, from everything that i've seen and read, set a great example for all poker players, in a world where these examples are few and far between. He did not seem at all interested in self-promotion, table antics, tv time, endorsement deals, etc. He did nothing but handle himself with class and will go down as one of the greatest players to have ever lived.

RIP Chip

Nice stud section in Super System I !

Glad you won the first 50k HORSE event, probably the last of it's kind to include NLHE. Now THAT was a test of all-round skill.
