This really rings home for me. When I was in 10th grade my best friend commited suicide. It haunted me all through out highschool. I was unable to cope for many years. Later, when I joined marine corps my roommate took his life after his girlfriend died in an automobile accident. I'm only 24 years old now and it's really sad, but I think I understand it all now. I don't know how to explain but I think I understand the pain and depression that results in such tragedies. My condolences go out to the friends and family that were really close to Naami.

I really enjoyed reading Naami's posts and always thought her to be extremely intelligent. Much more than those who constantly gave her a tough time. I just want link up this song. It's my favorite and it's a goodbye song. It also relates well to Naami being that she lived in LA and had a pet snake.

May you fly with the angels

I didn't know her and I don't know you. But I'm somehow quite sure you are right. I'm not at all sure it's true of everyone else on this forum.

In my life, death has become a frequent, but never welcome, visitor. For Brandi, and her family and friends, I am sorry.

I don't understand the sadness of death. Life is a gift, but death is a better place. Celebrate imho.

Rest in peace, Brandi. I can only hope you've finally found it.

I see your point but I don’t think you celebrate the tragic death of a young person whose life was cut unnecessarily short.

She had a lot of life left to live. Celebrating should be reserved for someone who has lived a long, full life. She was way to young.

this should serve as a "wake-up call" for 2p2...I know this is a close-knit community that flames away at everything and constantly pokes fun at every thing in the poker world and beyond, but i hope situations like this will show we have a heart and can show some compassion

my thoughts and prayers are with Brandi's family and friends...RIP
