If they've got restraining orders on all their overseas accounts then even non-US players might be ****ed. ****ing DOJ, smart move though, what Euro will play on a US facing site after this? All about increasing the costs of serving US players.

Killer is they arent going to have to prosecute based on whether poker is legal because of all the bank fraud type charges

Bad, bad, bad day.

awhile ago UB had the FBI seizure page up, now it's back to normal.

This is just the beginning. Given the severity of the issue, expect more charges, indictments, forefeitures, amd seizures in the coming months.

Also, given the nature of the filed compliant, it is with certainty that the FBI and DOJ have wiretapped ALL communications to and from these sites for quite some time. You will be surprised how little evidence they need to get a court order for such wiretaps.

The money laundering part of this will not be easy to get past and has nothing to do with the legality of online poker.

Makes sense now why the owner of Pokerstars insisted on meeting with Wynn out in the ocean instead of in the US.

I bet it's just the end of a chapter. It'll be legalized eventually.

I'd guess it's safe, but who knows.
It's the timeframe I'm worried about.

I withdrew almost all my roll, near 10k spread over a few sites.

Will I get my withdraw in the next few months from Tilt or Stars, Probably not.

Will I get it in a year, Maybe?

FWIW I requested a wire transfer for $14k from Stars last friday, haven't gotten it, haven't gotten any answers yet. I don't think cashing out does you any good.
