PS and FTP should easily be able to cover the funds right? Don't they keep their money in an isolated account from operations? I know it'd be a huge hit and they wouldn't want to do this, but they aren't running a ponzi right, they should be able to cover player funds.. right?

fwiw I had $500 sitting in my FTP account, logged in just now and withdrew and it hit moneybookers within two minutes.

People should have removed $$$$$$ months ago as it will be siezed I posted my thoughts about that and my thread was removed and people got mad to me pointing out the obvious that this was gonna happen sooner rather then later.

fuuuuuuuuu

I'm from the UK, and I did a small "test" cashout earlier on PS just to see if it would go through, it did, but now I'm hearing that PS will be completely shut down world wide.

I can't make another withdrawal for 48 hours

Guess I'm pretty much in the same boat as you americans

As far as I know, the users of European licensed clients (Pokerstars.it, Pokerstars.fr) should not be worried about this. Not sure what the implications are for other European countries.

America has been a joke. What little freedom we have is currently being taken. The only question now is, what are we going to do about it? I have my IRS check ready for Monday, but have decided to tear it up.

I am not going to pay one more fu*kin nickel to a government who uses my own money to remove my freedom!

This goes beyond poker, this is a war on our personal choice of spending money we earn as we choose.

Tom, as somebody who makes a ridiculous living from this, how worried are you on a 1-10 scale?

It's been quoted several times in this thread, i think it's from ESPN_Poker twitter

according to the indictment, theyve been tracking these sites for awhile now. in it they describe the evolution of how the big site processed payments and how they changed over time to evade detection.

You are talking out your ass.

I reguested a check from stars, was approved.

Requested a wire transfer from tilt and was also APPROVED.

Thats not to say I will actually get the money any time soon, but as of now it looks like cashouts are being approved and both sites are at least making an effort to keep cashouts available.

I guess they should have listened. It's fun to have the last laugh when everyone is ganging up against you.
