Crown is known for taking GIANT action. There have been whales to have 100 million swings in the baccarat games, and they frequently throw promotions to entice these whales where such swings are definitely possible.
I have heard of guys allowed to bet millions a hand. If anyone remembers the Uncle Joe - Ivey incident, there was a $300k table limit in the Teak room, I think this was craps though. I believe there is a higher vip room, but I am not a Crown reg, I just know some of the dealers who have dealt the absurd action of the baccarat games. When I have been in Teak room, they had 1 million limit table set aside for some fish. They are definitely competing with Macau where such action is very common.
Dealers there are not allowed to play in the casino, but they all play in home games. Many of the dealers are poker pros working a minimal schedule just so they don't have to pay taxes on poker winnings.
