Obviously regs are a net negative for the overall ecosystem, but a broken clock is right twice a day. While he may be acting in the best interest of the community this time, don't let the countless examples of him doing whatever it takes for his self gain.
1)
Moving Target (OP of this thread) has openly admitted to mass opening tables and tanking every action in order to secure 1st on rakeback leaderboards. This occurs when it's close to cutoff time (~10 minutes) and someone is catching up to him in points. By sitting at all tables and tanking every action, it massively slows down the hands dealt, allowing the 2nd place person unable to surpass him.
Is this against the rules? Technically no. But is it scummy and selfish? Very much so.
2)
Moving Target (OP of this thread) has been permanently chat banned for racist and discussing hands in play in GG Poker chat. He has frequently exposed his holdings in chat after folding in order to get regs to lose the pot or get no action. This has resulted in him being chat banned permanently (good thing tbh) from the site. In addition, he has frequently said racist and xenophobic messages in chat.
To anyone active and has influence in the poker world and is thinking of vocalizing support, is this really who you want to support?
Someone who clearly has no morals?
Someone who only cares about integrity when it lowers their bottom line line but don't mind the lack of integrity when it suits himself?
Someone who is racist?
Now, he may have a point on this issue in this instance, but can his credibility be trusted? Let's wait until some more authentic and trustworthy people in the community speaks out before making any rash decisions or rash judgement.
For all we know, this could simply be a couple regs who aren't active on social media or other platforms to defend themselves. I personally think it's fair to inform the site of our suspicions, and have them take appropriate action. Seeing how it has been months since the site has been aware and has not done anything, I'm more inclined to think that they've done their due diligence and found no wrong-doings.
