I don't want to invite politard derailers, but I honestly don't understand how he escaped jail time. I don't. What sort of PROOF do defendants have to offer re: claimed medical conditions? And why should they carry any sway to begin with? It's marginally different when you're dealing with a 94-year-old in palliative care confined to a wheelchair, but this dude was just a fat 39 year old. My only guess: there simply MUST be a backroom deal where he provided info that helped gov cases against other folks, like Daniel Tzvetkoff.
Also, I don't think it's a stretch to say that he has only PokerStars to thank for keeping him out of jail. If they don't bail out FTP (with a gun to their head), players don't get paid back, and he doesn't have the "
