This video has a sensationalized title accusing the floor person of doing this because they're racist. From the information I compiled, that doesn't appear to be the case.

Basically there are 2 confrontations in this video, the first is so short it would originally seem like 1.

From talking to people that were present, Casanova 2x had a group of friends with him. The number is different for each story. They were falling asleep and had been woken up and told they couldn't do that by the floor person some number of times. Everything from 3-10 has been quoted to me, and I've seen an edited screenshot of a conversation supposedly from the floor (I can't confirm that, nor see whom he's talking to) that it was 6 times.

Finally the floor person asked them to leave, prompting the first incident. Security gets involved. It's unclear what happens here and how this occurs, but they decide not to throw him or the sleepers out, and end up taking selfies with him.

Very shortly after the first one, this situation occurs, and security was either called again or had not left. The video is 6:11, only 00:16 of which is the first incident.

By the end of this video no progress on ending this situation had been made, and Casanova 2x appears to head towards the floor person, but the camera is pointed down at that point.

It sounds like he got more unhappy in response to the floor person saying "Matt, you're out of line" . There's a second dealer behind the first one about to push into the table that is kinda laughing, so I THINK that's who he's talking to. The dealer responds and does not push in to the table. At first I didn't realize this was the floor person, and once it was pointed out to me I assumed he was jawing at Casanova 2x, but I don't think that's the case now.

Interesting to note: the dealer keeps dealing and the players keep playing through all of this. I think I see him make at least 1 bet and fold at least 2 hands during this process. One of them I can't tell if he pulls the cards over the rail and folds or keeps the hand so it might just be 1.

There were a lot of people in that room all exposed to a very volatile situation.

I didn't know there were any card rooms in DC. They're "racist" why? Because they made a ruling he didn't like?

It's technically in Maryland but it's considered the DC area - it's at MGM National Harbor.

like I said in the OP - the floor kept waking up his friends and eventually told them they had to leave. How he decided to have that conversation we don't know, but there's no indication that he did anything racially charged on video on in anecdotes that I've heard so far.

lol... who's he calling racist? Everyone around appears to be hispanic, asian, or african american.

Dude went way off the rails and knows it. Blows my mind that his friends didn't try and deescalate the situation.

That insinuates that only white people can be racist.

Imo there was only one person being racist in the video; the black guy shouting the N word.

How is that table not full!? If a rapper is at the table and he's pissed off dumping 10-15k, i'm gonna be in that game or i'm gonna get a phone call letting me know about it asap.

Security guards really looked like they didn't want to get involved and seemed shook, i can't blame them but its their job to handle situations like that. I just cant believe they let it go on for as long as they did.

Didn't watch the video but I was woken while waiting for a room, in the AM, at a Las Vegas Casino . Its a no go for I'm sure the idea of anyone coming in to catch some sleep, in the long and short runs, is unappealing for cast and crew and participants alike.

This was right in front of the check in desk where soft sofas and chairs were provided for those waiting.

Kinda disappointed that security didn't do more to deescalate or remove him. If I were a player at the table or the dealer or floor I wouldn't feel safe around someone yelling and menacing like that.

You guys are looking at this way too black or white. Some big angry guy is yelling, and you think they should remove him? I don't know their protocol, but I have worked with aggressive people before, and the #1 rule is too let them vent and blow off steam and try to avoid a physical confrontation. They had plenty of security around; the floor person eventually walks away, which is good. Perhaps they called the cops and were waiting on them. Perhaps they were waiting for him to blow off some steam and willingly leave; which it looks like is happening at the end of the video.

fwiw; not that it should matter or was known, but dude served 8 years at Rikers island; so I believe him when he said he was going to give work to anyone other than the police that tried to escalate stuff. I think security handled this well and a physical incident was avoided because they did not try to escort him out.

I did leave out his past because it's not totally relevant to the situation at hand.

The police were not called to my knowledge, and they have police officers on site at all times. That's another weird hiccup in all of this.

Remember he DID blow off steam in the first incident.

I see how you said there are two incidents in the one video, but neither incident looks like a physical confrontation occurred. Either I am missing something (very possible); or you are sensationalizing this by saying he went "ballistic". IMO, ballistic involves physical aggression.

i mentioned this in another thread when discussing the moderation of posts about this incident in the venue thread, this guy just released an album today so there's a small chance of poorly thought out viral promotion (like a fake beef with another rapper or fake arrest) in this.

there's an entire police substation next to the casino FWIW, along with the onsite officers as mentioned.

my main problem is, the guy is "famous" and will likely have better things to do than anything past this specific incident, and i get (but don't really agree with) the kid gloves to prevent further escalation.

but what about when a local with nothing to lose has an incident and comes back to settle their perceived slight? sounds similar to Annapolis yesterday (not to mention the extremely long list of other instances of violent revenge in the US) and that's why it's wholly unreasonable to not 86 immediately for long-term (possibly permanently) persons who make violent threats towards businesses and employees of that business.
