Ofc feels a bit like just PR but maybe it isn't and he can work on improving the sec
Don`t get me wrong and I sure hope so as well but at the same time I just think that I would not feel comfortable if Nanonoko was actually the one making the decision if someone is being banned or not for using an RTA.
What I expect from a Consultant is to be capable to add extra value to a security department and if they see Nanonoko as just that in todays environment, I just don`t think thats really a good sign for the security department in the first place.
Really not hating on him as a person and I think his involvement over the years and how he is still part of the environment is impressing but I dont think that within the last 5 years he would have ever considered himself as a super good regular on the midstakes anymore. Environment has changed and his big times was before all of the solvers and so on and I would think that in todays environment it is important to rather look at the big data, the stats of individual players and their improvement over the months/tourney stages (ghosting) and so on.
I really hope he can make an improvement but I just think that it is the wrong kind of addition in a developed environment.
Props to him in any way though - really good entertainer and host these days!
