That's also supported by the fact that the guy actually payed a ****load of taxes for.. 2006, I think it was (tax lists are public information in Norway). This means he must have cashed out a lot of money from his online account(s), as he would otherwise have no incentive to pay taxes. From the sum on his tax report, he must have withdrawn at least $1'000'000.

He's also playing a lot of EPT main events, some WPT main events, and for last year's EPT final in Monte Carlo, he backed a whole bunch of fellow Norwegians for their full buy-in, IIRC.

So Lodden is very likely by no means poor... though it would have been very sweet to see him get back his roll to play extreme nosebleed stakes cash games online again.

I was at loddens table at pca and can confirm he is not dead

ya what happened was when the UIGEA was about to hit, like a week before, i was in my second month of senior year of college. I was going out like 5 nights a week and decided highstakes poker probably isnt the best idea 10 shots deep.
To insulate myself from the risk of playing drunk and the legislation that was going to drop in like a week, i moved the majority of my roll off neteller. i paid off my school loans, invested the rest, and kept 50 online to play.

That interview link is right, its from the nas song.

The location as the quote above says is from a LL Cool J line. I had a friend in college who'd always quote that line at random times. When i started playing lower than 25/50 after UIGEA, people kept asking me where i'd been blah blah blah because i hadnt been playing like at all and then when i did it was lower stakes. I decided that was a good location for my name here.

RIP73 played high stakes on Empire Poker back when Party split which I assume is where you remember him from. He's a live player that plays a ton at Commerce, and I think browses 2+2 every now and then. I'm pretty friendly with him as we used to both play on Empire together and live a lot.

Re: The "where have they gone" thread

Where is BldSwtTrs? I suspect he is milking some small euro sites, but explicitly asked his friends not to out him. He was considered extreme good and tough player in the pre-UIGEA Party era. Several nosebleed players said his poker insight is not from this planet.

He does post here occassionally.

SMILES . I hope he is still showing every bluff at .5-1 too.

I'm not sure but I believe I saw someone with that SN playing mid-limit (30-60?) on i-poker not too long ago. I don't recall anything that distinguished his play.
