Whatever became of David Sklansky? You never hear from him anymore. Did he ever get those eight cats he was hoping for?

From what I've seen of interviews with Lodden in misc national magazines (poker-related and otherwise), I'm quite certain the guy is far from life bust. He supposedly invested a significant chunk of his winnings into real estate, for instance.

That's also supported by the fact that the guy actually payed a ****load of taxes for.. 2006, I think it was (tax lists are public information in Norway). This means he must have cashed out a lot of money from his online account(s), as he would otherwise have no incentive to pay taxes. From the sum on his tax report, he must have withdrawn at least $1'000'000.

He's also playing a lot of EPT main events, some WPT main events, and for last year's EPT final in Monte Carlo, he backed a whole bunch of fellow Norwegians for their full buy-in, IIRC.

So Lodden is very likely by no means poor... though it would have been very sweet to see him get back his roll to play extreme nosebleed stakes cash games online again.

whys my name all in caps? i might start spelling it like that it just hits you right in the face.

i play 5/10 with some 10/20 now as high stakes swings are hateful on the psyche. i decided in senior of college to withdrawal a lot of my roll and dropped down.

Where did the name “iRockHoes” come from?

There is a song by Nas called “Ether.” In it Nas disses Jay-Z’s record label (Roc-a-fella) saying, “I rock hoes, ya’ll rock fellas.” I thought it was a sweet line so I used it as my screenname. Once I made the change I started winning, so I just rolled with it.
