Tighten up the segments and keep the videos under a total of 22 minutes and you have a winner.

More seriously, although Doug gave props to PTI for the format, I would have expected a few changes rather than a direct, on-point copy of pretty much everything they do. The only things that were missing were Mail Time and a guest to be interviewed for Five Good Minutes. My suggestion would be to tweak the show's format a bit and come up with a bit of originality to distinguish yourselves while still having PTI as an underlying inspiration for the format.

i know you guys probably do a bit of prep beforehand, and it's to leave it organic and not directly reading from a script, but i'd maybe do a little more prep.

it would allow you to shorten/tighten up some of the segments, there were longer topics where 50% of the time was someone just repeating themselves 3-4 times

Just a small suggestion. Not sure if you guys are doing the rundown every episode, but maybe both of you are allowed to have one timebank (chip) to extend the conversation about a certain topic a bit further if you feel it's really interesting/you want to say something you haven't yet.

I really enjoyed it. For a first time effort I though it was very sharp and flowed really well.

One thing, if you're gonna dress up in suit jackets and waistcoats, its worth dropping down to a tailor and getting fitted with tailored shirts..

With a camera upgrade for Joey, things would be about perfect.

I can see this sticking around and becoming the go-to for poker news topics. Thanks for putting the time in guys.

thought this would be a reach, but enjoyed it...suggestion....joey get a better camera, doug's quality is flawless, your's looks funny. if you guys are going to attempt to rip PTI, at least do it proper... : )

It's a cool idea , as someone who might not value their time as much as other people I would prefer if it was more a show discussing news in more detail / opinions etc instead of a condensed possibly rushed 5 mins for some bigger topics but either way solid first episode and I'm sure things will only go up from here

Not sure why everyone wants Joey to splurge for a nicer webcam. Maybe Joey should just buy a worse one for Doug.

Enjoyed the show. I'm sure it'll get better with time though I think it'll run out of legs just as PolkerNews seems to have.

I thought it was pretty good, I'm worried about a copyright infringement from that ESPN show that looks similar, though. Pardon the Interruption? Seems format is a little TOO close, with the timer and ringing bell, etc

Set the cameras any way you want, dougs head will always be bigger than.....anyone's really.
