Tom,

With the ensuing lawsuits that are being placed against FTP as well as lawsuits being filed by The Canadian Consumer Protection Organization, do you think these lawsuits will spur lawsuits around the world that can potentially overwhelm FTP to the point of not being able to settle their legal trouble and potentially lose their deal with french investor Groupe Bernard Tapie?

Kind of curious about this question since the french investor has specified that they will let the deal fall through if they dont settle their civil lawsuit with the doj.

BTW thanks for ur time. I know a lot of people wouldnt have the patience to keep answering questions

Tom is this french investor the one that Doyle refered to as "the french businessman that crushes the biggame at the bellaagio on the regular"?

i don't think i should comment too much about the ongoing deal with the french group. also i don't know much more than was in the press releases. i will say that obviously no-one would buy ftp without talking to the doj (in case the doj decided to say 'no, we want 1b$ and not a penny less), so that clause shouldn't be worrying at all

yes i'd think it should be, but i don't think this is fair to do unless its pretty certain ftp isn't paying out. i think owners are fair game atm

2. Since payment processors money had been seized before you signed did you question how much FTP would be willing to eat before they would have to exit the US market

3. Any talk about how long it took for US deposits to reach FTP bank accounts? Or anything about when/if money was assumed "safe" from seizure.

4. Did you discuss what their plan was if/when the DOJ shut them down
no, if i had asked those questions and evaluated etc i wouldn't be paying $$ back if they don't pay. the reason i think i owe that money is because i was naive enough to not ask those questions. i did discuss them some after signing, but i was obviously in a way less powerful position to demand answers.

do u plan to keep an affiliation with FTP if a deal were to go through? Are you entitled to a deal? As of now, would u still consider yourself to be representing FTP or would u say you've cut off all ties with FTP at the moment? Also, if u could comment on the status of people who are "red pros" ... would their contracts be reinstated or would they be compensated anything if a deal were to go through?

i don't currently consider myself to have any affiliation with ftp. If i was convinced that ftp would get audited and have player funds segregated its possible i would consider to be affiliated, but i would do whatever deal was in my best interests. If that wasn't with ftp i'd still be happy to give advice etc. obv. I still am friendly with some people in ftp, and am obviously trying to do anything i can to help facilitate a deal.

what about "limbo funds" that were never received or received as checks that bounced? I have 12k in checks that were either never received or were no good at the bank. Surely this is part of some kind of accounting that can be found and corrected? I would feel so much more comfortable if my acct actually stated the correct amount of what was owed to me. Thanks.

Tom,

You're a smart guy, but a smart guy in a room full of crooks and fools. Have you ever thought of doing something more worthwhile with your life than playing cards and making bets all day every day?

Agree at all with this part. Do you know if Phil Ivey in the next few days will do a media interview and his future with the room?

On an unrelated note, and i highly doubt durrr will answer this:

I heard from a fairly reliable source in Macau that you were busto or close to busto after a lengthy down swing and buying up Daniel Cates ftp dollars at whatever rate you agreed upon.

How accurate is that statement?

Trying to buy or sell FTP accounts on 2p2 is prohibited. Since usually no one can post on the topic, even if it involves off site activity, without a bunch of people wanting to get in on the action, all those recent posts have been deleted.

Durrrr,

I apologize if this has been went over/ask previously. Can you lay out a time line of how you became associated with FTP? Obv you were crushing the nosebleeds on a regular basis. But who done all of the wooooooing? How long did it take to get you into the FTP stable? Where there other offers on the table from Stars or even UB? You were a free agent for years, what was the deciding factor to even become a member of Team FTP post UIGEA?
