How you have so egregiously missed that point, but some how find fault with Bobo Fett's postings as being a "mouth-piece" for WPN is beyond me.
+1 to this

I certainly don't take it as an attack on me, so don't worry about that.

A couple of questions for you - have you read the article, and if so, is there some part of my critique you take issue with?

The same way I feel about the lack of regulation and oversight at every US-facing site - obviously, that's not what we'd all like to see. Not familiar with "double your winnings".

just feels a little off to me.
Neither I nor 2+2 endorse WPN, or any other site - I'm not sure where you get the idea that we do.

Bobo, this is Kavilla you're arguing with, logic will be lost. He's had crazy conspiracies about online poker for many years now.

Regulation and oversight are not necessarily good things. Asking government to take care of you is not the solution to all problems. In fact, it causes many, many more. But I digress...

I personally do not like the "double your winnings" feature of the software. However, this is how poker is progressing. Sites are slowly, but surely, turning poker into gambling. Variable prize pools, variable chest rewards, double or nothing on losses... get used to it folks.

i just had a bitcoin deposit issue for the first time on ACR, i'm a bit of a hysteric (largely because i had 50K on Carbon Poker for almost a year before they, thankfully, straightened their mess out) but i'm wondering if this could be the beginning of major processing issues.

their deposits and withdrawals have always gone smoothly but i sent bitcoin last wednesday and the money finally appeared in my account after i contacted their support for the third time this morning...the rep had to investigate the matter for some time and seem confused about why the transaction was not complete.

ill have to read the articles and links in this thread because I'm pretty ignorant of all bitcoin related issues but i am seriously considering taking all my money off the 3 sites i play on. i was the first player to chime in on the carbon poker problem after i had a one week delay on a withdrawal and of course soon nobody could get their money off. i'll be following this thread closely
