Only two things before we do it:
1) Somehow we can confirm that the bet is real (not that "he said/she said" )
2) We can track progress/get updates.

Or we can escrow fith someone reputable today/tomorrow and wait for further info. If it is a fake, we cancel.

Nobody says that something bad happening is inevitable. But there’s a non-zero chance that something live changing is going to happen to him. On the other hand, nothing positively life changing can happen. If he wins the bet, he has another $100k in potentially taxable income. FWIW, the option of leaving the bathroom at any time makes the bet exponentially harder.

If he’d be getting 10:1 with a potential payday of $1mil, I guess the majority here would think the risk-reward was there. But 1:1 is outright stupid.

I gather from the news article that Alati started the dark room experience on Nov. 21 so he has already made it 7-8 days. Based on past reports of others, his dimethyltriptamine (DMT) brain levels should have increased high enough to cause him to experience visual hallucinations if he hasn't already. If he can handle that, he's probably a favorite to make it to the full 30 days.

Are you willing to escrow the full 100k or at least 10% if you can provide proof that you have the full amount liquid? I assume you are talking about 1:1 odds?

Since 1 year would be associated with 5 figure cost for surveillance, food and other stuff, should the losing side cover that, too?

This might serve to scope out a GTO spot that would be good for storing cockroaches if/when Huck Seed gives it a go.

It's good to see various members of the poker media putting together information and shedding light (pun intended) on the topic. It has obviously engaged many in the poker world and resulted in a wide range of opinions.

I still believe this prop bet and linking it to poker is nuts, but I also think it's good the views of those who disagree with that observation are being aired too.
