I feel disgusted to be associated with you. It's going to take a lot more than just "sorry I ****ed up" if you truly want to apologize.
its always been crazy to me what % of people will actually do the right thing when things are going poorly for them in whatever respect. My estimate of this % of people seems to keep getting lower and lower, and its already really low.

I guess now theres really no reason to think he actually won that much money as he claimed other than a lot of good/great hsnlers think he has a good poker mind. Anything is possible at this point in regard to his entire story from the beginning.

And I would agree with some others that his claim that he was approached by a friend to cheat these people is weak at best. I couldnt really tell from his post if he meant it was his friends account, or just that his friend gave him the idea and was watching/helping him cheat these guys

gotta love 2p2, how can someone just come out and accuse someone publicly of scamming when they actually wanted him to discuss strategy in-game, its ridiculous, as bad as girah did, u didnt do hell of a lot better OP and it's gross how HSplayers do this crap regularly with no consequences whatsoever.

man jose really ****ed up. It's hard to fathom that a genius like him could not realize that your reputation in the poker world is infinitely more valuable than a few g's. I would say I feel sorry for you, but you brought this upon yourself.

What's really ****ed up is that he was scammed by his uncle and still decided to pull this.

wow i thought this kid was gonna be pokers golden child. lol what a scumbag.

but what didnt feel right during the HU? infinite river aggression again?
08-07-2011 , 01:50 AM
all of this just doesn't add up at all!
just getting a weird feeling...this is going to go way deeper
08-07-2011 , 01:51 AM
very tilting not knowing what is real, i really hope none of it is as this whole thing is bad for poker and would be soo tilting if made up. never saw the other thread until now and posters for a hundred pages thought girah was made up. now the guy is involved in a 30k scam against a bunch ms/hs 2p2ers.

I just can't see a bunch of fellow poker pros making this guy and the stories up as some big level as the publicity is just bad for poker and no pro would want that. that is what will make it easy for me to sleep.

wasn't jungleman moving to portugal to live w this kid. man hope for jungleman's sake he didn't leave yet imagine how awkard that would be!
08-07-2011 , 01:52 AM
do you ppl realize that he got caught? he wouldve kept scamming if he could... then the dollar amount goes higher?
08-07-2011 , 01:54 AM
Seems the kid was noob enough to try this in the first place, but smart enough to see that he would be found out and is attempting some damage control while it is still relatively early and cheap. I have no sympathy for scumbags.

That's only part of the equation. If he can turn 30 Euro into 1.6 (in a year), then it's damn near a complete waste of time to go through all of this to scam people
08-07-2011 , 01:56 AM
what is the full name of your "friend"? does he have accounts on other networks?
08-07-2011 , 01:57 AM
"Then in October last year, something really messed up happened to me. I was taken advantage of by someone close to me. They cheated me for a large sum of money – about $250,000. Although I don’t want to write too much about the details, it was really screwed up. At first I was just shocked that this could happen - I was 17 and probably a little naive, but I couldn’t imagine that a person could do such a thing to someone they cared about. But as time passed, I started to feel angry. Angry at all of the hard-earned money that I had lost. In my mind I felt abused. I lost faith in people. I started questioning my friends, my family, even my girlfriend and, as I felt worse and worse, my poker results started to flounder. I just felt ****ed over... by life and by poker."

Off course the friend story is a load of BS, so what I still don't get is the reason for scamming fellow players, for what seems to be a rather low amount of money at HS, if he is such a profitable one.
