Got in a discussion about poker popularity and the Limit vs. No-Limit debate.

Someone replied that the "famous Chan bluff scene" was LIMIT. So that gave me the idea for this.

Nothing can beat EuroRounders, but I still think this has potential...

How about the scene where he tells the dealer to scramble the f***ing cards, then loses the hand, throws his cards at the dealer, calls the dealer a c***sucker, asks for a setup, tells the dealer to use the shuffle machine, then not use the shuffle machine, then use the shuffle machine, then scramble the cards, then loses the hand, then tells the dealer to suck his d***.

Wait a minute, that scene wasn't in the movie, that was real life. I always get the two confused.

Just for the record: Slowplay is, of course, a form of bluffing. You'll find it in any good book or article on the art of the bluff. More or less a reverse form of the traditional bluff.

They ****ed up the Seidel/Chan hand so bad. Chan was in position on the hand. Not nearly as interesting IMO. And Seidel was valuebetting the river!

The Mike versus Chan scene doesn't make sense. That isn't how you make a move in limit holdem. Now Chan is a grinder like Mike, but Seidel is still a top tournament player.

(Chan v. Seidel was a crappy transfer from low-quality video. Chan v. McDermott was filmed with a real camera and film. No contest.)
