Is there any update on when they will implement $15s?

I think power up poker has been around long enough now to start looking a little deeper into the game and to start formulating some strategies to combat the general population tendencies.

I decided to start this off by doing a session review series all free on Youtube.

If you want to be a part of the next video(s). Let me know and we can arrange something.

It looks like the info is going to be freemium soon, rather than totally free Besides, no one has verified its correctness over a large sample.

Hi guys, i am wondering what good roll be for $7-s (i kinda crushing 3-s at a moment)?
Was thinking something like 30 buy-ins for starting 7-s ($210), than if drop to 25, go back to 3-s and repeat.
Also, is there a big difference in quality of players between the two?
sry for bad english
ty and gl at the tables

Hello everyone,
I have been in touch with the Power Up developers, they are now working to resolve all the bugs and problems that appear in the game. If you have any insights or comments regarding the performance of the game you are encouraged to get in touch and let them know about it on powerup@pokerstars.com. Only when this is resolved they will be able to start actively promoting the game, add $15 stakes and be able to add promotions.
The game on Android has been fixed on the last release and now they are working on iOS.

If they do MTTs, 3max zoom CAP tourneys (20bb max wager per hand) would be great.

Im interested in buying a new monitor and I would like to buy one that could fit at least 4 power up games at once with no overlap. Considering the power up tables dont resize small like the standard ones I am not sure which is the best monitor to go with.

I would like to get a 34 inch 3440 x 1440 but they are expensive. Can somebody share how does power up tables fit on a 27inch 1920x1080? Also if somebody has a widescreen gaming monitor how do the tables look on those as well?

Out of interest, what are the major bugs that players are experiencing? I keep in eye on this and the Discord thread, and don't see too many reports of big bugs or problems.

Here is a major one I have that they're unable to fix, copied from support e-mail:

When I first played, I noticed that when I register my first power up after starting the software, it would work, but on the second power up, the window would grey out, not react and eventually crash. When I restart the software and re-logged in, the window would open fine and I can play.

I wrote to support and he answered me that my user.ini was broken and sent me a fixed one which I now used. The game doesn't crash anymore, but instead the table will use 80-90% of my CPU.

I wrote support again and they would first tell me to do a complete re-install with CCleaner, which I did. The new, "clean" user.ini again crashed my software.

Then they told me to switch the Openglsetting=1 to 4 in the user.ini, which I did for both (!) the clean and fixed user.ini. It caused my fixed user.ini to crash software again, but resolved the CPU issue.

Basically, I can switch between a clean, new user.ini and experience crashes or use the fixed user.ini and experience 90% CPU usage.

------------------

I use two screens with different resolutions and I'm fairly certain it's a OpenGL problem. Same thing used to happen with The Deal windows sometimes. I've played hundreds of games so far and about 1/4 of them have people sitting out or DC'ing in the middle, so I'm sure the number of issues is super high and unreported by these people, they just don't play again.

Most bugs have been appearing on the phone app - random disconnections, app wouldn't let you sit back in (the button "I'm back!") did not show up, other players characters would appear in your character's spot etc. On pc there have been some issues with the time bank mostly. These are the ones I can think of from the top of my head right now.

Honestly? This is fun! And I'm really surprised to write that. Didn't have so much fun at PS since at least 10 years.

I have to agree. Usually I switch between all the tabs and don't really find something I wanna play. Lately I've more often than not directly clicked on Power Up.

I just wish there were higher limits..

Forgot to add this earlier but looks like PS is trying to make games shorter - 10 min rather than ~15 min - so they introduced a new structure. For now it has only been updated on the play money but it is probably coming shortly to the real money games as well.

New structure:
Starting stack: 1500
Ante: 5, 10, 15, 25, 40, 60
SB: 25, 50, 75, 125, 200, 300
BB: 50, 100, 150, 250, 400, 600

They made a small graphical update recently. Card backs and some power card animations have been updated. Also my cpu usage is now 3% down from 40%, so anyone having those kinds of issues should check it out again.

Hey guys!

Looks like Power Up is now available to play on tablet - I'm testing it out right now!

Looking pretty good

I think giving more recreation players the ability to join in P.U. from multiple devices is going to make the games much softer.

Pretty sure this is one of the games on Stars that is the most beatable if you know how to play with the cards. Plenty of bad players in the $3s and even in the $7s.

Infact there are a couple of power up strategy sites already and one of them has got plenty of great vids/strategies/content.

I feel like this has lost momentum already. No 15s yet though they were supposed to come out a while ago, no MTT implementation, no buzz

A couple of friends of mine found some different power cards that pokerstars have designed, they sound pretty interesting. The card names are in order

Manadrain, Mint, Morph and Deploy

I cant for the life of me figure out what deploy could do, but the rest seem to be a little more obvious.

there are no medium-highstakes games available - that`s the main reason i think this didn`t reach it`s expectations

no streamers playing this might be another one
