My guess is that they are testing it to see how much the game traffic is affected by eliminating the cashback. They could also be testing the waters to see how pissed off people are. No doubt the cashback will eventually be removed.

It's probably just a bug and will be fixed, however Stars are now just another scummy gaming company so expect anything.

Rebates are back but the progress bar still hasn't been fixed.

Just realised that since the start of this year, however much progress you've made of a step, it gets reset at the end of the month. Broken progress bar seems a great way of making it so people don't realise how far through a step they are and therefore maximising the amount of Starscoins that Stars get to write off - or in other words, how much extra rake they get to charge.

Exactly. The tournament schedule is a ****ing ghost town. The Promotions are laughable. The timebanks and pre-timebanks are so ridiculous short, that almost every beginner instantly gets scared and regs cant play multiple tables like they used to. For sure you are going to have a huuuuuuge decline in traffic as a consequence. Only to mention some other factors that make pokerstars a ****ty site apart from the ridiculous rake/rewards system.
They got rid of so many attractions. Really wondering if they did themselves a favour. I think they will experience many customers switching to other sites and not coming back again, as ****ty as everybody got treated in the end.

That was their objective. If you watch any video with Negreanu or Lee Jones talking about the rake changes, their sole aim was to make it as difficult as possible for multi-tabling regs to grind a living.

Where's the huge decline in traffic? 2+2 regs represent such a minuscule fraction of their userbase. Stars have made it quite clear they don't want winning regs on their site, so if anything you just do them a massive favour by leaving.

A few regs might switch sites, but most will stay on Stars. They have a monopoly over the market for a reason.

$1 = 5.5 vpps. SN = 10,000 Vpps a month or 100,000 vpps a years

Would be sweet if stars says : ok winning players. We wont rake you anymore but you can only play against other winning regulars. If you lose a month you will be moved back to the regular pool. Segration is good for the games.
