I hear people say this from time to time but is there actually any evidence to back it up? Do you monitor Mercier's stats in coin flips and analyze his tournament variance or is it just an assumption based solely on the fact he regularly goes deep in live events?

It's more +EV to have him play, then rob him after he wins.

Translated Cliffs: Mizzi has "friends" over in his hotel after winning the WPT Paris High Roller. Sometime later, he notices cash is missing from his safe. There is no sign of forced entry He suspects one of his associates was looking over his shoulder when he entered the pass code. Police questioned and released several suspects. Mizzi planned to confront people at the next stop on the tour, in Cannes. This was a few weeks ago.

Floor staff are making all spectators stand at the entrance to the hall, a table length away from the nearest action. You can't go walking around the tables etc while play is going on. (This was how it was on Friday/Saturday anyway)

Looking at this the last event is Thursday, does that mean play will still continue on the friday ? or just over from the thursday night? Im only 25 mins away on the tube, sio thinking of going down after work thursday night or on friday daytime

I'm in and about the EPT for most of today, and you can get reasonably close to the players to rail.

Most of the staff are really helpful, and happy to try and facilitate you getting a view, but they do have to take the security of the tournament very seriously.

I'd really recommend popping down if you're in London, the side events are also pretty full of famous faces, or just pop into the Vic to watch them play cash.
