Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Egypt, Qatar, Jordan, Kuwait, Senegal, Nigeria, Tanzania, United Republic of Bahrain, Afghanistan, Occupied Palestinian Territory, Kenya, Mozambique, Rwanda, Holy See (Vatican City)

The following countries are also blocked and no play money games are available:

Iran, Iraq, Syria, Zimbabwe, Libya, Sudan, North Korea, Cuba, Myanmar, Yemen.

To be fair they did ban the Holy See and Rwanda as well. They seem to be cracking down on religious fanatics in general. Even just fanatics really as they banned North-Korea also.

UAE is gone as well. I logged in only to find out I was unable to play. Good news was that they converted all my tourney tickets I purchased with points into dollars, which I just withdrew.

It probably has to do with money-laundry regulation. Gambling regulation makes little sense bc they still allow players from countries where Stars is clearly forbidden, and countries that have no regulation about online gambling whatsoever are included in the ban.

Its funny they say this to you...maybe special treatment for the supernovas and not us platnium stars....

Unfortunately this is not possible. Currently, all accounts registered with an address in a prohibited jurisdiction are blocked from real money play. To be able to play again you must be resident in a country which is not a prohibited jurisdiction and be able to prove it.

As annoying and unfair it may seem to you. They quite obviously aren't allowed/can't give you the answer so no matter how many emails you send you will get the same response. If stars has taken such an abrupt measure without any warning it is obviously something really important as hinted by the "we didn't take this decision lightly". It sucks for regs and the like but I think you should see it is not just stars saying FU guys. Obv a big reason/enforcement going on judging by the continual referal to "3rd parties".

Which on the list do you think is ambiguous or in the clear? For me they are all clear black markets where unlicended operators are banned - though I confess not knowing about the vatican.

You ae right though that there are other markets where Stars has yet to pull out of with similar bans.

Just very angry considering i have quite a few players who owe me money online and transfer it to my stars account, but now can't do so.

Considering the low value of the Turkish Lira, anything over 5k dollars gets flagged in the banking system and has tax implications on it meaning i lose out on a decent amount of $ It's kind of hard to declare it as "gambling debt" here..

And lol at people thinking they specifically targeted Muslim countries. With the new UK licensing and the soon to be license in New Jersey here in the states they will be pulling out of all the non white market countries at some point. Kind of hard to serve questionable markets while you're trying to get into legitimate ones.
