According to this thread
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...stars-1678823/
It's between 8.5-9% with one boosted when you're in a normal bracket
To 4-5% if you get bumped to higher points

Kinda does make some sort of difference no?

Do chests go up in value if you leave them or something?

I've grinded thousands of micro hands and have gotten nothing of value, what a joke.

Think of chests as the starscoins steps we had before, just 6-7 times worse.

Can't believe how good the games are and have been recently **** crazy. Seems all "smart regs" moved and flooded partypoker and other sites, 888 etc.

So funny.

So actually, more rake was better for all players, especially the recs.

That said, this approach is very shortsighted. Cause soon enough not even the winning regs can beat the games, once rake is higher and the BE rakeback grinders come back and move down in stakes.
( Since they couldnt beat games anywhere. )

So yeah, great at first, super shi tty later. And even further down, the death of stars.

Online poker's ****ed anyway. It's all just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic at this stage.

I don't see MTT's dying anytime soon.

Before the new reward system I was a gold level VIP and had to play roughly 10k hands for 10k stars coins. Since the new system I've played about 35k hands and made about 8k points and about 30$ in cash, so probably the equivalent of 11k points. Have they really reduced the rakeback by THAT much?

ya it went from average 20-30% for people to ~4-5%, have you not read any of this thread

Did you miss the 300 posts before you confirming just this?

As above posted said, it went from 27% average to 4%.

At the same time, all rakeback"pros" have left to 888 and party, so games are better than ever.

Just closed 2 zoom tables after about 20 minutes of inactivity and suddenly I get around 250 points. Stars badly need to get this glitch sorted. Update the points at the point they are earned, to do anything otherwise is cheating your customers.

Goldstar was like 15-20% before the changes
Now it's a bit over 9%
he just got lucky on cash in chests I suppose

Silver Chests are something between Gold and PlatinumStar monthly now
When you move to gold your rakeback literally more than halves

how the **** do you people STILL not get thar there is no rb % - everyone's rb is different, and the difference can be as much as six times bigger rb. For example, I need to 18k points for golden chest, and some people itt reported needing 3200 points for the same chest.

Poker players just arent really sticking together, otherwise stars couldnt make these changes. If every reg left stars they would be left entirely with recreational players and their player pool would decrease by a ton, doubt they would have enough to have zoom tables going. Their MTTs would die as fish play these for the big GTD's and they would rake a lot less despite having mainly depositting players. They would have to offer less games which in return makes their site less attractive for recreational players. Their site would get smaller, before they start dismissing their own employess they would reconsider their actions.

But I guess thats not gonna happen because as soon as some of us leave, the games get softer which is a reason for some to keep staying. That way we will never have anything to say. Every reg ( even the top winners ) should boycott that site for at least a few months.

If we play by their rules we play by their rules. A few of us leaving wont make a difference, its even what they want, but all of us leaving, that should make a big difference.

Each time I get a chest, the graphic starts and stalls, so, I have no idea what was inside (aside from garbage).

Hey question... With the new syustem, what should I be spending my stars on? I assume playing the jackpot game is really bad, so what should I spend them on? New to stars.

Cash is still there, they've just hidden it - "My Stars", then "Rewards Store" at the bottom.

Yeah, I thought that was hilarious. Next month they might just hide the withdrawal button somewhere.
