SLOW ROLL IS WHEN YOU ARE ALL IN AND TAKE YOUR TIME TO SHOW THE WINNING HAND.

This was ON THE FLOP. The action was on PH! He CANT slowroll by definition.

Yeah it isn't a slowroll. I think they're saying it's scummy that Wiggins clearly was never going to fold to the shove and was REALLY EXCITED and Phil took a minute to put the money in anyways.

Wow, can't stand those commentators. If this were a real cash game, everyone was extremely out of line. It's probably all bull****, though, doubt the hand was even real tbh.

Acting quick is a sign of either a tilted player, an online guy who doesnt consider the gameflow/live tells and is acting mechanicaly or just a donkey. Phil is none of above.

You can act quick if you have layed out a plan for the hand and it is playing out according to your plan. If you get new variables to consider when the hand takes a weird path, its only normal to reconsider and reavaluate and adjust your play. This is more true in all in pots and more so live than on the net.
side note: I really respect your tournament play Kirby and i doubt that we would disagree on many things. This is not directed towards you at all. I just feel i gotta defend Hellmuth on this one, he gets accused of something that simply is not there.

Those commentators tilt me so much being so serious shaking their heads this was suppose to be funny video. It was unnecessary to take that long with that hand as the money is 100% going in and all the "this is so sick" bs hollywood for 2minutes when your opponent is pot committed for tv time is annoying. Yea everyone is out of line after that and acting stupid! (especially daniel but doyle classy as always) But one buyin come on its not suppose to be so serious, sick bad beats are fun to watch .. I wish someone would come up with the original clip

I'm pretty sure this show has to be the low point of pokerstatic, who has put out some really awesome content. This episode is worse then whats going on in the actual clip. Did Phil slowroll...meh not really. But to bag on everyone at the table beside Doyle is just awful. Yah Phil Laak asked "When are you ever beat in the spot" which I guess he should have said, "Are you ever folding in that spot". Tony G...well he's Tony G. There are a slew of people with steady 3rd-2nd place finishes on TV who never got on anymore because they have the personality of a slug. The whole reason he gets an invite is because of his table talk. Which I'm pretty sure its very much like Phils act and off camera he's an alright guy. Why wouldn't this table be rooting for this guy to put a badbeat on Phil to win some money.

Both guys came off as clueless clowns about TV poker, if I didn't know any better I would have thought this episode was a clever troll.

edit: IN MY HOME GAME THERE WOULD BE A FIGHT... :eyeroll:

Not to mention during High Stakes Poker Doyle was rooting pretty loud for badbeats to happen.

BAM and Ace...BAM

Seriously those two came off like clowns.

I think the guys commentating were on point but they went about it so badly. They could have gotten their point across in less than 2 minutes and most people would have agreed with them.

Pretty much this. It's called Hollywooding. There's a difference between Hollywooding and slow rolling.

And the blue shirt guy was tilting. Tony G obviously didn't mean KJ beats A9, but rather KJ is better to play in the same way that AK is better to play than 22.

these dudes need to stfu and show the hand.

right before the hand starts, they pause it and start talking about the production and set that the game is filmed on. so tilting.

Edit: i can't believe how irritating that commentary/video was. jesus christ.
