not really, the guy is freerolling anything over his initial 100k stack.

if he doubles he wins 100k. He doesnt have much interest in putting 36k out of 110 if hes not putting the rest. That's before even considering that the guy is a complete amateur and is obviously comfortable with his hand and never folding with his behavior.

Still not a slowroll, though. Stupid hollywooding for sure.

Those pokerdirt commentators are TERRIBLE. lol @ arguing that phil is really 'thinking' about being beat here, really?.

How anyone can defend Hellmuth getting ANY harassment is lolhilarious. Hellmuth had NO reason to tank forever in that spot, that certainly could be taken as a 'slow roll' by the fish. Completely unnecessary.

The hand is amazing. LOL @ hellmuth 'I thought you might have flopped 10's full, that's just how I think' explaining why he tanked is freaking spectacular.

Patrik lost all 4, however I don't think he was as big a favorite as Phil iirc.

Its a televised cashgame and his on 1 buy in. When you consider the amount of
tv time/money you get plus the way hellmuth plays i would muck KK to an insta shove there. Theres a better way to chip up insted of calling shoves from a nitty player. As played, Hellmuth made his hand look weaker and got a call.
He's very good at exploiting amateurs, his tournament results are proof of that.

Surprised by the initial reactions from everyone to this video. PH gets so ridiculously unlucky and everyone is cheering and giving him the rub down, so out of line its unreal. Just like the annoying commentators said - he shows pure class in the way he handled it all imo.

I think because it's PH everyone thinks its acceptable to needle him etc. not taking into account he just lost $50k and was a favourite to win 100k. If this was Negreanu who took that beat and PH was jumping round cheering, telling people off set that he lost 3/4, and then started telling him how terrible he is, everyone would be ripping into PH.

Wow. That video is embarassing. Cool hand, but Daniel, Tony and to a lesser extent Phil Laak acted so terribly. Daniel is a hypocrite too. And Tony G should just go off himself. Holy.

By the way, I have a history of over-diagnosing Slow-rolls, but that was a nitroll, not a slowroll.

..just saying. To those that think the amateur was commited on the flop, you gotta consider what Hellmuth would 3 bet shove after hollywooding with. Esp when the amateur turned his hand face up by talking.
This was early in the game, Hellmuth wasnt tilted or anything.

Is Earnest's SN public? He had to win some PokerStars tourney to get on the show right? Earnest is the new DN imo. Shipping him $0.02 for good luck from now on if his SN is posted.

I'm all for dog piling PH when he is wrong, but really he isn't in this one.

They were definitely out of line but it is a television show with an online qualifier. Gosh even if Doyle had A9 people would probably be cheering for Wiggins.

More importantly, the radio guy in blue was completely insufferable.

PAUSE THE VIDEO AGAIN TO SAY DANIEL WAS OUT OF LINE. ONE MORE TIME PLEASE.
