Thats the whole issue. Joining fast doesn't equal using a script, yet everyone will think so and bombard support with accusations. Stars then will get loads of criticism on their over or under enforcement.

Thats the point I keep trying to make. It wont improve the experience for Recs. It will only give a few people who will find away to bypass those rules a HUGE advantage.
Seat Me on the other hand actually would have improved the experience for Recs. Even if people would still be bumhunting at tables without Recs would instantly die, it wouldnt look so obvious to them, since they would never see it.

the only thing that really improves the experience for recs is playing in an environment with a higher balance of recs to regs. if your opponents mistakes help balance out your own then your loss rate decreases significantly

The only change March 1 is what your software is allowed to do. IIRC you are not allowed to use software to sit that reacts to a color tag or lack of one.

Stars released some document that I'm unable to find atm and thats what I remember it saying. Also you can have software auto sit you, for example you can tell a program to sit when 3 people are sat it just cant be tag related.

I'm assuming auto reserving for an R is also banned. So tables shouldnt be R blocked anymore but obviously games are still gonna fill up fast.

There's nothing in their Terms of Service or Prohibited Programs page that reflect this.

Not true. It takes quite a while for the HUNL ZOOM lobby to fill up when a rec joins. There's even been times where I've seen a reg previously holding the lobby now battling solo against a rec that joined @ 5k or 10k for 10min+

You cant be serious. High stakes zoom HU is one of the most dead game types on the site and isn't even close to comparable to 6m non zoom where fish constantly sit and an army of grinders are constantly competing for seats.

Games will fill in 10s max during peak times at MSNL instead of microseconds. Probably most games will fill so fast that it will seem like its scripting, but really it'll just be a speedy click war mixed with the occasional cheater.

I'm also guessing there is no rule against software moving a table in a monitoring stack front and center for you to manually join when a fish tag sits.

So yeah nothing gonna change except for the R circle jerk thing.

the only reason HUNL zoom and 6m reg tables aren't comparable is because, afaik, there aren't scripts for HUNL zoom (pls correct me if I'm wrong).

HS HUNL ZOOM is not dead on PS, how could it be when the highest wr's vs recs are achieved in HU and there are daily fish there @ 5k and 10k? do you even follow the action? quite often the HSNL ring game lobby has 0 games above 1k, yet there'll be action @ either 5k or 10k HUNL. quite often being almost every day.

despite all of this, you're probably still right about games filling up instantly (seconds instead of microseconds), as it'll incentivise regs to actually watch the lobby, which I don't think happens very often atm.

I'm shocked that fish are a daily thing at HU high stakes.

A custom script wouldnt be a bad idea just to scan the HU lobby, and I'm sure someone somewhere has that ability.

What about stars sending C&D to the softwares supporting this?

Why are HUDs still allowed? If you go on twitch to watch poker, all the regs have HUDs up with tons of statistics and it makes it seem like you have no chance if you are a rec player who just wants to play poker.

I really hope the Phil Galfond style poker sites catch on, where everyone is anonymous, there is no bumhunting and HUDs are banned or useless.

I thought they were banning scripts but they seem as rampant as ever. Some times hard to even get sat down at regular tables due to this.

Pokerstars now is a massive game of musical chairs, and the music stops when a fish sits.

scripts are still allowed but not to sit vs color-tags
now they just sit vs every reserved seat or newly sat player, making it 100% worse
