by not paying rake they dont collect VPP. So without any VPP for the last 50 hands or whatever is that mean they wont get anything?

Nope the Vpp qualifier also works for the Milestonehand itself and by shoving into a 50$ pot the generate rake and that way VPPs. the loser got 1,7k, the winner 73k.
Since they knew each other theyll split anyways.

there was a 70k bonus for the winner of the hand, regardless of vpps.

they got 73k and 1.5k respectively, which means they earned 2(?) vpps in the previous 50 hands (accounted for by the vpps from the milestone hand itself?).

In the 13 hands that were in the history for those who opened the table before the 70b hand was dealt, all 13 were open folds by the sb.

But if they had 10 tables open, and by doing what they were as the 70b mark came around, they are pretty much free rolling pokerstars by not paying rake and cheating people out of it. I think PS should give it to the person who won the 70,000,000,001 hand since they woulda been the 70b hand.

I never play on pokerstars but i know on full tilt they had an "auto fold" button you could click on so would automatically fold your hand.
If this is also available on stars then they would not even have to be near their computer as this would be done automatically for them.

I cant believe some of the responses in this thread to be honest.
Pokerstars are definitley looking into this for sure.

I played for days like many others trying to hit a milestone and never did. sigh.
To anyone who thinks this isnt cheating is just dumb.
They freerolled while the majority of others paid pokerstars rake to try and hit
the 70 bill milestone its not right.

Also this was all arranged if they got lucky enough to hit they get $35k a piece
100% pokerstars will do something.
Usually they have the hand replay and lucky winner on the site by now but nothing
there which indicates investigation.

I knew something was fishy as I opened their table mid session and saw them with half stacks and open folding every prev. hand lol

I really hope stars will do more than just not pay them but somehow compensate all the other players that participated. I logged on tons of hours this week hoping to hit and I didn't get up from the tables till the last milestone hit even tho it was 7am here

so who has a good way to correct this issue?

If we disqualify the "winning" hand wouldn't we have to disqualify every hand played in a similar manner? How far back do we have to go to root out this nefarious deed? Don't we need to void any hand that was played since 2006 where a player was in the US -- or at least since Black Friday?

WTF? I mean PS is displaying all these messages about the 70billion hand and what happens? All the sheeps join cg tables and fold till the milestone hand is dealt, then leave the table, they dont pay lots of rake etc. so whats the problem about this? they occupied 24 tables... thats not very much...

I don't think so....

Getting mad over this is ridiculous. What they did for the previous hands has no bearing on the 70b hand. How could you even see it that way? It's ok to open fold on one table but do it on 24 and it is somehow different? Both actions are on the same spectrum, quit being a whiner that you were low man on the totem poll.
