History lesson:
Ulvis Alberts came down to the bike one time. He found Abe Lemon sitting there, on a cool 100K. just waiting to snap a guy off.
Like Johnny Moss before him, Lemon takes on all comers. They even leave a table open for him at the front, should anyone take him up on it.
Along came a man, named Doug Polk. He challenged Lemon to a match. A duel. A battle of nit-wits. 10k, heads up. Winner takes all.
They played for 5 years, before finally, Lemon had enough. He called it quits. At 4:20 PM, exactly 5 years to the minute the first hand was dealt, Abe Lemon got up from the table, dusted off his crusty golf shirt. Removed his sunglasses, and reached across the table, and shook Dougs hand.
"Mr Polk, I have to let you go." were the famous words uttered that day. it was glorious.
