Used to be a huge fan & was someone who paid him for 1-1 coaching here in LA.

He was a tremendous & hilarious poster here for many years, but it seemed to go downhill at some point after his very good HSNL thread which seemed to cement in his mind that he was a living legend/genius who could also predict the future.

That is probably why Trump's election defeated him so decisively. He had an insane level of his identity invested in personally "winning" the election & getting to gloat afterwards like it was the Absolute/UB poker scandal that everyone else was too stupid to see.

His twitter feed became so unhinged there was nothing else to stick around for. Can't imagine Pokersesh was much better of late?

i think he should give others more credit, for what they are capable of. e.g. i believe DP is doing a very good job of attracting different target audiences, so thinking he doesn't know, how the industry works is a bit weird, ranting about him just unfair/unprofessional ... i don't know limon personally, so i let judge others, what are his problems. but a 'timeout' seems to be a good idea.

For those that have known Limon for 8+ years has his alcoholism gotten worse?? He did say he believed he was a dog playing Polk HU.

I much prefer LATB with the somewhat classier tone / commentating that it's had the past couple weeks. Hopefully they keep that. I never enjoyed Limon's commentary or whichever degens they had on in the past just always talking about the trashiest ****.

This would be a major loss for LATB if confirmed true

Limon may seem like a drunk, raving lunatic but he has tons of wisdom and gems to offer and is also hilarious

For some reason I watched the whole hour and 20 minutes of this thing. Limon makes some really good points about catering the fish, pros entertainment them, not wearing headphones/hoodies and whatnot... But it seems that it doesn't really apply to this situation.

I liked him here on 2+2 and on **********s. But his Twitter feed was unbearable.

Tuch is a yes man and a clownshoe. Very forgettable announcer. Sad!

The best way to support Limon right now is to unsub from LATB immediately.

That is what I did yesterday.

Im gonna miss limon telling the camera man to zoom in on liberal chicks box and asian Kate's "huge chip stack". Limon was great in doses but anyone who has been watching LATB over the past year or so saw this coming.

I did enjoy watching Doug interact w/random players in a relaxed game. He didn't come off nearly as pretentious and arrogant as i thought he would. Pretty clear now that Doug IS a decent guy and Limon has lost his ****.

didn't read the thread, just wanted to add that a squirt of limon really fixes up a lot of sauces. you need the sour to counteract the fattiness, or the sweet, if applicable.

It's too bad Limon is off twitch and has no platform , because with his knowledge / honesty / gold hot takes/ off the cough remarks there is a market for him and I use to look forward to his weekly pod and would sub because of pokersesh. Although he's surprisingly liberal ( trump situation clearly got to him ) His nonsense approach / no PC bu#@ S#@T was rather refreshing. He's from the old school and poker has changed dramatically. Limon was clearly fed up with the millennial Entitled "new schoolers" like polk .. The Glory day area, High stakes pros the likes of bobby baldwin / chip / doyle / danny R etc ( say what you will about them / chip and doyle sharing a bankroll etc) they always treated the customers (rec players like jimmy chagra's of the world) with RESPECT!!!!! Limon had enough and cracked when polk was late for his "show" and took a rather strong position on the matter ( no cis male fauxhawk pokergod is going to "big time" me and his ego went out of control ... Limon's points were valid but way to extreme coupled with his ego raging it was a must see **** show !!! On the other hand it wasn't completely fair to polk (especially when he's building a business / fan base ). The 10k heads up match was something limon did not want with GOOD REASON(loss of $$ and possible embarrassment) . a few weeks ago we watched limon play / he wasn't creative and he's folding TOP TOP to c/r's on dry boards etc .. So one could imagine how the match would have played out . Hope you do make it back on twitch ( a variety show / golf / stocks / politics and world views or whatever) GL LIMON

No reason whatsoever to keep subbing to LATB. Limon was a great resource to learn from and is also hilarious.

Are the people calling him an alcoholic just basing this off the Pokersesh? I don't think his drinking there is out of control. I don't even know how drunk he is on them, I think he acts that way even without alcohol.
