I just wanted to chime in and say that after a couple of weeks my accounts with the rest of my community were unfrozen.
I was just as frustrated as everybody else in here in the beginning since I wasnt really sure what was going on . But after talking to a member of the new security team put in place to lead this investigation I felt a lot better about the sincerity behind the investigation.
You can rest assured that all accounts will be looked at objectively and the decision made will be based on what the data says.

Just letting everyone know, my accounts were unfrozen also but just waiting for the money now. So good news. Thanks for the security team member coming into this thread.

Second thing: Theres been a couple of trolls and other comments in here targeting meale. I contacted him in february as i saw it advertised in his thread. I was never offered a hud or pokerminion from him when we spoke. Accounts were setup instantly as soon as deposit was sent, things were smooth, Chip rebalances were done very quick and there were 0 problems with anything. Some weird trolls targetting him are talking nonsense.

Anyway, as im unfrozen, may aswell lock the thread

Just wanted to drop my 2cents again, i have replied multiple times in this thread before. Today was the glorious day, i got my money back, untouched, after exactly 4 weeks of uncertainty.

I was very worried in the beginning obv because nobody knew what was going on, then after 3 weeks this thread popped up and i got less and less worried. the process seems harsh, but fair. that is what i counted on, seeing i have never done anything "wrong" in poker in my life in terms of colluding, botting, whatever.

Me and my roommate had ~$20k USD stuck on the site for 4 weeks and we both got out fine today, nothing to worry. Just wanted to share so people who are still waiting might catch some hope. If you are innocent, i would trust in the process.

I was always happy and onboard with the whole operation right from the beginning, as PK seems to be the first asian app that goes the extra mile to provide REAL games and is trying to fight actively. I could go on and **** about PM here for another 10min but everybody knows anyway.

Hi lindyhppr it may be a little off topic, but can I know if hong kong IP will be restricted to play in the future? I normally use emulators to play, and I register using phone numbers of Macau or mainland China. Will this still work?

We are down to our last 5 or so communities and expect to be through them by the weekend. The few are a little more challenging because they are a little larger and have a mix of bot and real players.

Hong Kong IP is fine.

There is only one community that has been entirely banned. All the others were either unfrozen or accounts that were deemed bots or collusion were closed.

The regional strategy isn’t clear because we aren’t very clear on exactly how to proceed. We want to ensure that what happened with the current accounts being frozen never happens again - there were certain regions where there were more bots than actual players.

For the accounts that were frozen i.e. accounts in the VIP channel (subset of accounts that had transfer capability), these accounts will be closed and money returned to the players. Players in this channel will no longer be able to play unless they register a new account.

As far as a territory strategy, we are still discussing how to handle accounts outside of China moving forward (regions that may be blocked, KYC requirements, etc). We have started a partnership with a company that will provide an English version of the app and share the player pool but have yet to decide which regions they will cover. If we end up blocking different territories we will return all player funds before closing any accounts.

i agree 100%. one of the biggest issues for players is that there is no real central source to turn to for news/rules/updates/etc. everything is just issued through agents, sometimes things get lost, or just deemed "unimportant" or whatever. would be nice to have a homepage or twitter or anything "official" to turn to as a player

Will try and keep an open communication on here. I'm just the security guy so I can't provide much info regarding the sales and marketing aspect.

Outside of China, Poker King really depends on agents (community heads) to communicate with players. Officially, Poker King does not operate in countries outside of Asia and depend heavily on our community heads to work with its players. We will try to improve the communication from community heads and I'll try my best to keep everyone informed.

The company is forming a partnership to address the overseas markets. There should be more information coming in the next week or so.

After having a couple of conversations with one of the members whos working on peoples accounts, they're definitely trying to be sure that there isnt any false positives and certainly isnt a cashgrab. Youre just unfortunate that youre one of the last communities. Someone had to be

I could log back in. Dont think youre allowed to sit at tables, i never tried. Agent withdraw money for me though. And ill deposit money back on when they finalise how they'll manage with overseas players
