Around two/three weeks ago, pokerkingASIA froze 100's of accounts in a measure to combat bots and detect those who are colluding. Since then there has been 0 dialogue with players how long this will take or if any accounts will be unfrozen. Their 24/7 customer support links you to an email address which is impossible to get a response.

Im opening this thread for people to vent their frustrations, let others know if they've been unfroze and for any information whats actually happening.


My story:

Started playing there in february. I started new tables on every account playing vs anyone and i certainly didnt collude. Ive got somewhere between 2mil-3mil hands on pokerstars so im certainly not a bot. Im surprised its taking so long to see im not cheating. Ive got around 200k ($30k~) stuck on the site. It would help if we heard if other people are being unfroze but it seems to be on complete lockdown.


Theyve hired John andress and Nick Petrangelo to run on their security panel so im convinced pkA wont freeze 100's of legitimate accounts and everything will be good soon. Its definitely a step some of these asian games needed to take due to high collusion but it sucks being left in the dark with a significant amount of money frozen up.

Seems like an iffy situation. Alot of people I know are frozen while none of my accounts are affected so far. I saw a russian agency claiming that they didn't freeze accounts using chinese mobile numbers.

While I'm also strongly in favour of combatting botting and collusion and drastic measures are probably necessary the entire communication is just very bad bc there is litereally no communication and only rumours and some account are locked for over 3 weeks now i think...

gonna be interesting how this will play out in the end.

they massfroze a ton of legit accounts. regardless of whether this is just an excuse to f regs or a sincere anti-fraud effort - this is not how you do it. this is complete BS. you don't massblock a ton of innocent players. you find the guilty and block them. and if you can't find the guilty then gtfo out of the running a poker site business. if this is how john and nick are running things then f them too. great ****ing security experts - let's just block everyone!

It's pretty frustrating. On the day I went to cash out half my bankroll I got all my accounts frozen. I've got school to pay so if I'm not unfroze by end of this week I'm ****ed and year wasted.

Yup. Bad life decisions. Would have been ok if I cashed out 1 day before.

It's super frustrating and honestly piss poor on support's behalf that there has been zero communication with players. If they absolutely needed to freeze entire unions to sort out the bots, fine, but at least explain wtf is happening and reassure people their money isn't gone.

Fwiw all my accounts were never frozen and our club can still process cashouts to my understanding, but I have several players who have been frozen and left in the dark. It's about time PKA made some sort of statement.

Or they would have frozen your accounts a day earlier..

Are you saying you are multi-accounting ? How many accounts have you opened ?

It's legit and you'll get paid. I heard that Bitar, Lederer, and Ferguson are now running the company.

seems like a huge pain in the ass to get money on there, or even install the app. must be worth it.

Not sure how these types of sites work but obviously that's a huge red flag for any normal poker room.

Why would you not be playing on the same account across all of PokerkingAsia? Genuinely curious if there's a reason for that.

your right it doesnt auto prove it. it just adds a tiny bit of credibility though. been on stars for 7~ years. Never been investigated. Could get well known MSNL/HSNL regs here vouching for me that im not a bot.

1 account = 1 table only. So if you want to play 2 tables, you have 2 accounts. Just cant play same accounts on same table. Basically same as pokermaster

Does the app have a tos or say its ok or not ok to have more then 1 account?

Maybe they only want you playing 1 table and banned all people using multiple accounts ?

Do you seriously allow for that possibility? It's either utter incompetence, ill intent or both. There is no "we legitimately needed to do it like this". It does not exist.

PK is not illegal. Its a legal company in Manila not a highjacked pirate app like PM is. Afaik the venture capital is main shareholder from PS.

How on Earth is not rampantly exploited if you are required to have multiple accounts on the site??
